The montage really felt down to heart... despite their differences at times, they all came together and genuinely enjoyed what they did, having a blast and entertaining those who watched. It's a shame that they won't be together after this coming season, but damn, have they had a memorable run.

Funeral for a Ford. Title of the GT's finale and also the most fitting summary for what Clarkson, Hammond and May have achieved. Nothing amazing or striking when compared to some other shows but something that completely defined an era and moved the world forward. Clarkson said it best with something along the lines of: losing someone famous is sad but losing your mate - someone who you've spent years besides, watched change, got to know deeply, cared for and shared life-defining memories with - is truly heartbreaking. Just like any old Ford, you don't realise how good it was until its gone. Thanks for everything.
When it comes time to retire my old pickup, itll likely be up there with the saddest things ever. Even if its just a 90s pickup that isnt special to every other person, it is to me. I dont care what it takes but it wont ever be scrapped, even if it just turns into lawn art, it deserves to live a life deserving of the Dodge badge on the hood and the many childish jokes on the back (instead of "DODGE" it instead reads Doge Ramen).

I have enjoyed the last 20 years or so with the Clarkson three and the end of this episode had me crying like a little girl. I really don’t want this to end
Im 31 years old sat in bed having just watched the last episode of the gt with my girlfriend sleeping next to me and im crying like a baby and have a sickening feeling in my stmoach like iv just lost someone. Iv never been in to cars as such but Jeremy richard and james are by far the most comical, fun people to be on tv and as im glad there going to be doing the specials to say this is he end of the original format of the show is heartbreaking.. every night bar only a cupple in 5 years iv watched every episode every special over and over and i still laugh as hard now as wen it first aired..i did apply in a ballot to go and watch 1 of this seasons gt episodes i didnt get it as i didnt now much about cars,a shame coz as stupid as this sounds but there like brothers to me when im sad ill put on a special and hey ill have a smile on my face and the worlds a better place again..thank you for 16/17 years of pure joy.......

When I started watching Top gear 9 years ago I thought it's just a programme of cars. I never imagined one day these 3 guys will make me cry :') It's impossible to even imagine that Jeremy, Richard and James will not be testing, racing cars anymore 😓
I couldn't stop crying. I cried watching this. Seeing the history and end of a icon in Britain. Also see the people who loved and cherished these vehicles and showed old photos it just made me cry. Nothing lasts forever but it is still sad. I get emotional seeing car companies/models end. To a enthusiast like me it’s more then just a metal box on 4 wheels it’s what it lets you do and what it makes you feel a don the memories with your mates

My dad had a mondeo and my grandpa had a cortina, i am underage to drive but even i find it emotional Also please upload the top gear, grand tour montage at the end Fast and furious didnt make me cry but these guys did. The trio are truly something special that noone else will ever be able to do
Although I'm not a big fan of Ford's this episode did make me quite emotional because to me the passing of these cars signifies a new era of cars, one where cars no longer hold the same emotional value amongst the masses as they once used to and it is unlikely they ever would again, personally being a petrolhead who loves the mechanical connection to a car it makes me sad that I would never be able to experience cars in the same way that the previous generation did. While cars are no doubt better now in almost every possible way, they just aren't the same anymore and will never be not only at a technical level but also at an emotional level.
I have been watching old top gear version from the 90s to new The grand tour. Anyone who are familiar with this would have noticed how they got old. From the younger age to this. This is the reality. The impermanence. I am sad that my favourite show might end in another couple of or just after 'a' season. And also I am sad that during my young time period I might see their funerals ( literally wishing not to be). And also I m sad that I might follow the same path as well one day. But also I wonder, if my grand father who was passed 16 years ago might had the same feeling when he saw his friends died or does it matter now. Anyway one of the greatest lesson to learn from this is, it will be a great journey of your life, if you could have few good friends and love what you do. Good luck everyone have a great life.
I had a mk 1 2.5 v6 ghia saloon and a ST220 and I’m glad I did cause tbh They were the best cars I have ever owned Made me smile and kept money in my pocket. I swear the 220 was better than any scobie or evo especially in a straight line.
@0:30 very true - here in Australia Ford Falcon's and Holden Commodore's might not have been the most desirable of cars, and sales were definitely dipping, but they were undeniably Australian cars (even with a pile of non Australian parts in the Holden inc it's engine). You can be all brand-proud and say "well they were crap anyway" but to a real car enthusiast, losing them *was* a bit like losing friends. Even if you didn't own (or desire to own) them they were important parts of the automotive landscape here (and who the hell else was going to sell you an affordable RWD car here?) What are they being replaced with? Haval 4wd's with CE Lancer engines at the heart, it makes me sick (just at the state of what we'll apparently accept, and the state of the person I share a road with who obviously doesn't give a single crap what they drive). In a few years I imagine cars here will be a split between Chinese collections of the least impressive Japanese car parts from the 90's, and German service agreements in the form of cars from the likes of Audi. [edit] and I'd just like to say thanks china for throwing the final nail into the coffin that contained the remains of the Australian import scene by sending brand new cars here with exhaust gaskets and brake shoes made of asbestos... in 2015... Fuckin dickheads

I still have my Mondeo, a Mk4 facelift 63 plate 2.2 TXS, it's the best car I've ever owned, and I have no plans to get rid any time soon, it'll be too emotional as I'll never buy another Ford ever again
I hope they go on for many more years to come. Why give up this format? I imagine Amazon requested/demanded that they only do specials as the viewer count for them is probably triple
This reminds me of what happened when Clarkson was sacked, he never gave Top Gear a proper sendoff and i knew he thought of it because of his eyes at the end.

I've got a 1999 Contour, which is the NA version of the Mondeo.
I'm was sad about the front engine Vette going out but there was hope a mid engine version
