It was decades before I heard and learned the Schubert, for a wedding (Gounod had been banned by the Vatican). I adore this setting, such a beautiful melding of a Bach Prelude with Gunoud's gorgeous melodic invention. Then there';s Ms. Ernman's lovely, understated performance, Perfect. Kudos, too, to Mr. Bergström, showing beautiful restraint. I envy them the experience of performing together especially this particular piece. Brava; bravo!

Everybody bashing her obviously have no idea about opera or singing in general. Her techniques are very very good. Generally speaking, Ernmann is a good singer.

Another great voice in the long Swedish history of great singers from Jenny Lind to the present day including also great male voices like Forsell, Bjorling , Gedda -this from a country with only an average of less than 5 million over the last 200 years ..

One of my favorite pieces, sung with grace and passion. I have discovered Ms Ernman very recently, she is without doubt a rare talent. Thank you.
