My grandma (i think) gave me some pokemon cards, and naturally I was very happy. But I wasn't a complete idiot, so I knew they were fake, but that was the closest thing I would get to pokemon cards so I kept them. The thing was that I kept "unboxing" the same couple of cards, not getting bored at all and faking reactions- Eventually I got rid of them. I hope that one day I can buy pokemon cards for real and watch out for the fake ones :)
I actually remember at a toy stall my brother and I got a tin each and it was looking good until my brother opened a booster pack with 13 cards in it. Then I went and returned mine lol

I didn't know if the cards themselves were real, cause they looked sketchy as heck, but the packaging was totally fake. (Thankfully, there was a real vendor, and I got a Reshirom (Reshiram and Zekrom GX) from him for $22. Best deal of my life.)
