I love their love/hate dynamic, it’s like looking at an older sister and younger brother interacting and bonding and it’s hilarious! Throughout Island, you really begin to notice how much their dynamic develops. Heather started to openly insult & abuse Owen, but towards the end of the season especially after the episode they were handcuffed together they actually began to start having a bit of a genuine friendship. Heather was still disgusted and annoyed with his nature, but she became a little more soft towards Owen and just kinda accepts that he is who he is while Owen accepts her for who she is. It’s just a shame they don’t interact as much after Island, but their small interactions are still quite consistent with where it ended in Island. It just would’ve been nice to see this duo develop more. It had potential to reach a more compassionate and platonic level.
