90’s?? I didn’t realize it was that old haha. Evidently, age doesn’t matter when you have such a classy, elegant, sophisticatedly opulent, and _- quite literally -_ timeless fragrance. Fragrances with such a scent profile as this will forever be universally ever-present and beloved for thousands of years! For anyone interested in my (very humble) experience in designer fragrances, other similarly _timeless_ scent profiles I’ve thus far encountered are: • _Dolce & Gabbana The One EDP:_ The quintessential date night fragrance; it’s performance is lacking which makes it perfect for an intimate setting, as your date will get whiffs of the scent here and there, making them want to get closer, and *stay* closer! When the night moves on into the bedroom and she smells this off of your skin while you share an embrace only true love can grant… Virgil himself would lack the words to convey the kaleidoscope of swirling emotions taking over your love and replacing all of her thoughts with a torrent of inexplicable yearning for your physical union unto oneness. Game. Over. • _Aqua di Gio (overall line):_ A very versatile and inoffensive warm weather fragrance line that is revered by many. Despite my getting into designer fragrances only months ago, I’ve surprisingly had decades of experience with _Aqua di Gio_ as my elder male relatives consistently wore it throughout my youth, and this leads me to my next point. The only personal gripe I have with this general line is that it invariably evokes sentimentalities exclusively exhibited and maintained by more senior members of the male gender. However, it is just that - a “personal gripe” - and that being said, I am quite young at 27 and so I’d imagine this to be a non-issue for many individuals! • _Dior Homme/Intense/Parfum:_ I don’t believe _the_ most revered and beloved designer fragrance of all time needs any introduction nor explanation 😋 • _Bleu de Chanel (moreso EDT and Parfum):_ Although this fragrance is relatively young when compared to others on this list, I believe the _Bleu de Chanel_ line will continue to be praised far into the future of its existence, not unlike _Dior Homme Intense_ or fragrances that similarly caused industrial reverberations upon release! This fantastic line by Chanel combines the freshness, mass appealing, and immeasurable versatility of “blue” fragrances with the class, elegance, and opulence of a sophisticated and beautiful gentleman. _Dior Homme Intense_ would be what James Bond would wear to take his wife to the Buckingham Palace ball, whereas _Bleu de Chanel_ would be his scent when -trying- courting countless women at the very aforementioned event. As mentioned above, I am quite young and my sojourn into designer fragrances as well as my knowledge of them invoke a blissful ignorance that is blindingly beautiful yet simultaneously ill informed; thus, these are the only fragrances I have crossed paths with that I can truly call _”timeless”._ Unfettered by bias or predisposed discrimination I believe my opinion on the matter at hand to be one of youthful innocence, however, that can at times be a double-edged sword. I would love to hear any opinion on the subject, especially from a veteran of the (designer) fragrance world! My apologies for the extreme length of this post, my passion and love of virtual oratory evidently gets the best of me, for better or worse. Thank you for your time in reading this. I gave ya a thumbs up JTN. But deep down this is not one of my favorites. More like it’s in my least favorite category. But it’s only my opinion.

ruined the scent with the new formula .. not comparable to some years ago .. liked it for decades but its not the same
