- Author Douglas Murray has called out ICC chief prosecutor Karim Khan as an “ideologue” who is “playing right into the hands of Hamas”.
The ICC is seeking arrest warrants for three leaders of Hamas, as well as Israel’s Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and the Defence Minister.
“[ICC prosecutor Karim Khan] is an ideologue. The court has no jurisdiction over this, and it is simply a smear,” Mr Murray told Sky News host Rita Panahi.
“Khan is playing right into the hands of Hamas, whether he means to do so or not.”

But it seems fairly clear that the Hamas leadership will either be hunted down in Gaza or get squirrelled away to a hero’s welcome in Qatar, so I doubt they care about the ICC at present.
