Is this the best jump trail in Aus? I think it is.. certainly the most popular at least. Has been almost 12 months since I last rode Derby, and oh how I have missed this! Also.. who says ebikes can't jump!
Cheers, not a lot of editing on this one haha, just colour & render 😅 Have been thinking it would be cool to start trying a bit more intro, B-roll, etc though. Just keep posting and keeping at it, definitely takes time 👍
@@IBCMTB B roll and that would be great! Maybe some 3rd person views too? I ordered a GoPro hero 11 the other day so I should get it soon, when I do I will have a look at some better settings to make higher quality vids
Running ridiculously well at the moment, so smooth! My first run down was pretty comical - "oh my god i'm going so faaast!!!", definitely took a few laps to get used to the insane speed
Hey mate awesome vid! Heading down there in a week! Can I ask what do you use for your audio? the wind noise is virtually non existent and your haulin! Cheers!
Cheers! Picked the perfect time to go, should be MTB bliss! Just have one of those full-cover foamie windslayer things on for this vid. In the past I have also attached a couple fake moustaches over the mics with double sided tape which works extremely well, haven't done that with the H11 just yet as the audio is great with just the foam cover/sleeve
Just a side note too, curiously I've found that if you cut the wind out too much it actually detracts from the experience/vid - having a small amount actually helps convey the sense of speed
Have to be close up there! Best for learning/progressing on for sure, it's really approachable for having quite big jumps! Will probably be fairly wet next weekend though so maybe not as good as in summer, the bottom section is still closed too, so the full trail isn't open yet.
Hey, the Hero11 really helps with that, but otherwise, I do use protune on the GoPro and do some colour grading and image adjustment in post to help get the most out of it. The settings you export out of Premiere other other video editors really matter too. For sound I actually don't use the "wind" mode and prefer to have a windslayer on with mics set to stereo

Such a high quality vid as always! So sick to have vids like this of local trails. Want to grow my channel to be like this one day🤙

How do you get such good footage?
