I discovered Yeah Yeah Yeahs as a teen just before my first breakup. I bought Fever To Tell after listening, spellbound, to the entire album in a record store. Somehow, every album has struck a chord with my position in life as they came out, and now, I'm recently divorced, unsure about my job situation, and looking for a new place to live with no real aim - other than the same feeling I had when I first listened to Pin, Date With The Night and Poor Song: It's alright despite the chaos, we're all human, and we'll figure it out. We're at the edge of the world, spitting at the bullshit draining our world, we're the children of the Sun.

Same as others say, it was such a surprise. Just a year and 2 ago I was saying I was sad that she does not do more music. I understood her choice, family and what not, but the talent. So cool to really hear this beautiful band and voice again.

HUGE sound. Got goosebumps when that chorus hit. Its a pretty large departure from their original sound but a logical progression from their last album or two. It sounds contemporary which is better than if they simply tried to recreate that raw garage rock from the early 2000s.
BIG sound. Love it. Being in a dark place in the head makes it that much better. Or worse. But better
A truly great band evolve but stay themselves and cross genres and moods while always sounding like they belong there. YYY's make it look so effortless.
I love that they are trying new sounds and its as good as their older stuff
I personally don’t like that huge sound. It’s too busy, and all over the place. Won’t bother to put this on the top of my favorites, but I do love the YYY.
@@val13c59 Yeah they've kind of made a rod for their own back. If you release 3x pretty much perfect albums in a row then anything that comes after is bound to not live up to it 😆

God it’s so good to have them back. You can definitely feel the Perfume Genius influence on this track and it’s all the better for it
After the watching the fox pregame for the hawks and niners wild card. I’ve been searching for this song. Finally found it. Even thought my hawks lost it was a season where we beat all expectations.
Love this so much. The chorus reminds of “Call Me Back” from The Strokes.

You really do....I am from Manchester, England. And i saw them at the Apollo on their last visit on the Mosquito tour 9 YEARS AGO (wow!) Unfortunately, did not even realise they had appeared there 2 days ago as one of only 3 UK gigs. Ive had so much going on...I was devastated!!
