This is why I always watch your reviews, they are always very thorough and detailed. None of the others I watched noticed the bathroom in the Captain's bedroom. And I'm on the exact same boat as you. Every ship we see is an improvement over the other, so when we get our Carrack, looking at how far they've come with these ships, it's going to be absolutely amazing.
i happen to have a 600i XD thanks for the shout out TAC. those panels on the walls that have the triangular pattern are the cargo pads, cargo in the 600i is loaded on the walls rather than the floor.
It costs 400 bucks. How long is the grind going to last... years? By the time I can earn something in game that isn't a "starter" ship, I'm going to lose interest in Star Citizen.
@@saltyjack5662 these sort of ships seem like they're meant to be a group effort for an organization or set of friends..also this Is a space Porsche so yeah it'll take awhile
Tactical Advance.. you are the only one I go to for Reviews.... I must say very detailed.. loved it..... I have to admit they went FULL RENOB on this ship.... freaking amazing.. definitely a dream come true game.... I cant wait. Thanks for the review! I am thinking it would be cool in a later patch or whatever that you could play pool or darts.. and pour yourself a drink.. Cheers!
Thanks TAC really nice to see this stuff in detail. All I do is drive this truck around the country so it's nice to keep up to speed with your content. It helps people like me who can't play much. Thank you.
Finally - CIG decided to place a door on the Captains bathroom. Somewhere in the universe, a Starfarer Captain drops off his "Big Bennies" space junk in his private bathroom (with no door) and stinks out his entire quarters just as there is a knock at the door.
The humidifiers are a nice touch for making the dry, recycled atmosphere within the ship more comfortable. Yet another touch of luxury, along with the grav-plate integrated into the floor of the lift.
Cinematography tip: Use the scroll wheel to change walking pace instead of using the slower walk button, it can make videos look just a bit more organic to the motion. Obviously you can do whatever you want but figured I'd just throw it out there for you to try out.
Your Ship reviews are the best one Out there, thank you for making them. :) At the Moment I really think about exchanging my carrack for the 600i because i think the carrack has become to big to handle it on a smaller scale. How do you feel about that?
Thats what I thought when I heard the carrak grew in size... I really like the carrak and I think its a great ship but I also think this thing is growing over my head. I own a polaris for the multicrew aspekt, but thinking about filling a ship of that size makes me nervous. Thank you for your comment I will think it over and when I get an upgrade option I might take it till then we might get some news on the carrak, hopefully that would make the decision more easy.
Those things on the walls, next to where it strangely says 'mind your head'; I'm pretty sure those are the cargo racks. Seems as they're magnetic, they'll hold the cargo in a vertical position to save floor space. Pretty cool. Just a shame about the ships performance, especially given it was categorically stated multiple times to be much faster.
The remote turret view isn't bugged, its the artificial horizon. You wouldn't want it to move, as it'd indicate, that you fling your ship around hard if it stays put and you move the remote turret.
The only thing that bugs me is the bar; it's slanted outwards at the base. How are you supposed to pull up to the counter without hitting your knees? As it is, you have to sit away from it and reach out to the countertop to get your drink. Doesn't look very comfortable. Love the ship though. I know it's supposed to be "luxury", but I simply enjoy the clean lines, smooth angles and nice finish. We have so many ships that are dark, austere or overly-mechanical in appearance; this is refreshing due to it's sharp presentation.
For the limitations of the game engine using baked global illumination...the bridge is fantastic! I like that they captured the lighting of the bridge when in daytime of an atmospheric planet. The lighting in the bridge is diffused lighting with very soft shadows. The bridge is one of ..the most beautiful lighting setups in the ship!
Tactical Advance, Now that's the way to sell a ship! Three pillows... I guess you can't have just one woman, you'll need two to fill it. Great stuff! Great tour! vgv
I believe all those numbered patterned strips going from floor to ceiling before the engineering rooms and in the rover lift are magnetic plates for locking cargo.
that ship legitimately looks like a lounge except it flies in space. Like i expect org excutives to use this ship when traveling and having meetings. Using an 890j would attract too much attention im assuming. ps i though tthis was gonna be the size of the connie. Looks much much bigger. like it feels closer to the cat in size.
A tip for next time though, please go in the captains chair and turn on the power & headlights before starting the exterior ship intro, because it looks much nicer to see the ship powered up as you walk into it. And i definetly agree that you should do all ship reviews in the verse, not in the hangars. Because ships spawned in the hangars have for several years not been spawning with everything properly activated.
They can add ships pl;antes NPC'S jobs and wherever they want but i won't touch the game until they up the player counts to at least 150 with decent performance and add VOIP
Please, make all the ship reviews on the surface of a planet, it really suits the ships :) I can't wait for the Crucible bridge tour with all the dust and stuff flying around at dusk!
I still have the connie, was holding off to see which one is better of the two. This looks bigger, but the connie gets the snub fighter. Also, bigger might not always be better. It would depend i guess how much bigger the 600 is.
Beautiful ship! I'm debating with myself whether to get one! And I bet'cha diamonds to dirt that they're gonna make it so you can really play pool on the ship!
i love your reviews Tatical Advance. This is my all-time favorite ship. thank you for this review. would you take these ships in vandul swarm and also do streaming
3. Ugly guns (not hidden, but attached in a very style-breaking way to seemingly random points of the hull exterior); 4. Slow flight speed (was supposed to be one of the fastest ships); 5. M-size components in a Large ship body, which internal volume is close to that of the Reclaimer; 6. Ugly turret holders; 7. Some very illogical things about the interior design (ridiculously small owner's bathroom, eating table for 3 persons in a ship with a crew of five; TV with 2 seats only; no privacy for crew in their living quarters...) 8. Really too much unneeded free space which adds nothing to luxury - it is just wasted... Should have been better used for extra cargo. 9. ...
TA ..another Great Video..i would hope in future..you give some specs on Crew ..Guns...engines...Cargo SCU..etc etc....BUT KEEP them Coming BTW--you missed the Mirror Reflection in the Head in Capt's Quarters
To be honest, already owning (and impatiently waiting) a Carrack, this version doesnt tempt me too much, i'd be more interested into seeing the touring version when it comes out, just to roam around like a boss with my friends. It's also very 'lost in space' looking. Edit: If there is one thing i'm not liking is the crew quarters, with all that space they could have easily give each bed is own mini room for privacy, especially this being a luxury ship. Edit2: also no toilet acces from the lounge? that's gonna be bad after a few drinks...
Looks great BUT seems to be so much wasted space throughout the ship. Feel sorry for the scanners as they have to keep turning their head to look at the globe display so feel the scanners chairs are the wrong way round. Saw the captains quarters and crew quarters but where do the guests stay as I thought it was a luxry liner type ship?
9:35 that looks a bit weird, how the Origin logo is cut off sliced in half by the wall inlet... Why on earth would the ship manufacturer design their own interior like that? Wouldnt they glue the origin logo somewhere else where it wouldnt be sliced in half? Still some work to be done. 11:20 those granite walls contrasted by the wood reminds me of Jurassic Park's visitor center!
Absolutely love these vids but could you use actual proper nomenclature for ships? Left/Right/Top/Bottom all depend upon your perspective. Starbord, Port, Fore, Aft, Dorsal, Ventral are the words used when talking about ship, whether Nautical or Space, lol!
Best review, worth waiting for! This ship is my goal and my ultimate ship, and I kinda want to earn it in-game as an in-game goal. However, I don't know if I'll be able to keep myself from buying it, damn this ship is amazing!
This WIP game reminds me of a walkable Autodesk 3D Demo, every single time. Wondering when they start bringing life into this massive world. I just noticed the lighting glitches on the cargo ramp (20:40-20:50) as it opens and closes back again. I´ve created an issue council case for it if others would like to reproduce it and help the developers work it out! Case number STARC-60969
Yeah, I don't have that kind of money, and I told myself I'm not buying any more ships, but otherwise, I'd love one of these... Still don't like the crew area though. That's a lot of space, and very little privacy, and no reason for it when at that scale you could easily have small cabins. Plus, since it resembles a luxury yacht where you in some contexts would expect a crew and passengers, there are no passenger cabins akin to the captain's one (even if smaller) It''s nice, but in some places it could be a little better thought out in terms of how the living space is set up, and a potential crew/passenger split. (less relevant since this seems to be an explorer variant, but still.)
The Crew quarters , the crew member should switch pillow on the other side, whoever wants to read something the light is on the bad side staring him in the face. But I guess thats not very good light for reading activities anyway. =)
Thank you. Can't wait to get hold of the carrack
honestly, with the way they have been stepping up, im excited to see the mustang reworks
That bathroom door is ridiculously hidden.
Ooooh burn ;)
Damn. Great video! And I'm waiting to get my hands on the 890 Jump...
I KNEW the captain had their own bathroom, BoredGamer and YoungBlood missed it on their tours!
i happen to have a 600i XD thanks for the shout out TAC. those panels on the walls that have the triangular pattern are the cargo pads, cargo in the 600i is loaded on the walls rather than the floor.
Cool ship. Too bad I'll never be able to earn it in game. #CommunityForcedGrind
why would that be?
It costs 400 bucks. How long is the grind going to last... years?

Wow! Good work finding that Captains Bathroom. I totally missed it! Someone had to point it out to me in the comments.
Cool hiding spot lol.
Finally - CIG decided to place a door on the Captains bathroom.
Somewhere in the universe, a Starfarer Captain drops off his "Big Bennies" space junk in his private bathroom (with no door) and stinks out his entire quarters just as there is a knock at the door.
Best review so far. Welcome back!

Excellent tour, appreciate the time you take to fully explore and show off all the bits and bobs!
Your Ship reviews are the best one Out there, thank you for making them. :)

Thanks. 100% keep the carrack epic.

I have a glass sliding door at my house and have so for 20 years, I still walk into it

I love your Starship Salesmanship video reviews, you always do a damn good job; well-done sir... well done indeed !!!
Thank mate you do know I work for Origin (-:
The Maybach of ships! The Connie Phoenix being a Merc S class.
Tactical Advance,
Now that's the way to sell a ship! Three pillows... I guess you can't have just one woman, you'll need two to fill it. Great stuff! Great tour!
vgv
Lol. Glad you liked the video Videogame
"I guess you can't have just one" man, you'll need two to fill it. EQUALITY
I believe all those numbered patterned strips going from floor to ceiling before the engineering rooms and in the rover lift are magnetic plates for locking cargo.
This ship is Beautiful!

ps i though tthis was gonna be the size of the connie. Looks much much bigger. like it feels closer to the cat in size.
Ah yeah, the captains quarters on the front of the ship. Nice and secure.
Those numbered doors you mention are cargo panels, cargo mounts on those wall panels, wall mounted cargo bro 👌
The best ship reviews of all!
Been subbed to you for a long time, all time BEST ship reviewer in the verse! Great video as always.
Thanks King (-:
a fantastic ship , it leaves me even more dreaming about the end result of the 890 .
TA is my only go-to TH-camr for Star Citizen ship info! Always on point : )
FInally a TA tour on a ship landed on planet instead inside the hangar, i was waiting for this for so long.. hehe
What the heck is with that upskirt floor right where the bartender stands? That is a hostile work environment.
A tip for next time though, please go in the captains chair and turn on the power & headlights before starting the exterior ship intro, because it looks much nicer to see the ship powered up as you walk into it. And i definetly agree that you should do all ship reviews in the verse, not in the hangars. 7:40 SMB Ryan thought those were partitions, not doors, and that you had to go down a level to get to the other side of that compartment. LOL!!
Being a high class ship it should have a secret passage to an escape pod/safe room, behind a book case.
Bravo Great ship and wonderfully narrated Tour!
Thanks Cyber
That little room with "doors", those doors are actually armor and weapon storage
love your in-depth tours of ships, keep it going :)

Ladies & gentlemens... “Tactical Advance Here”
Ohyeah 👍😁
Its cowling evokes the impression of a high-end racing motorcycle, like a Buell or BMW.
This or the carrack I can't decide, I love the carrack but I love the styling and view side of things around the ship not just the bridge
Please, make all the ship reviews on the surface of a planet, it really suits the ships :) I can't wait for the Crucible bridge tour with all the dust and stuff flying around at dusk!
23:28 That Sound ! Haha i was like : "nononono" BC i thought i accidently pushed my start Button.
I don't mind how the bridge is really bright without shadows. It makes you alert. I suppose they could have 2 lighting modes, one dim and one bright.
I still have the connie, was holding off to see which one is better of the two. This looks bigger, but the connie gets the snub fighter. Also, bigger might not always be better. It would depend i guess how much bigger the 600 is.

i love your reviews Tatical Advance. This is my all-time favorite ship. thank you for this review. would you take these ships in vandul swarm and also do streaming
Hmmmm 3 pillows in the captain's quarters, four beds in the crews quarters and 7 escape pods. I think you're onto something here.
First Person I've seen to show the captain's bathroom!
21:20 thats a bit weird, a "luxury" ship, but absolutely zero privacy for the crewmembers?
They really should have divided this into 4 cabins.
I like the ship a lot, but there are two things that bug me 1 - No airlocks. 2 - Ugly landing gear.
3. Ugly guns (not hidden, but attached in a very style-breaking way to seemingly random points of the hull exterior);
4. Slow flight speed (was supposed to be one of the fastest ships);
5. M-size components in a Large ship body, which internal volume is close to that of the Reclaimer;

8. Really too much unneeded free space which adds nothing to luxury - it is just wasted... Should have been better used for extra cargo.
9. ...
Cannot, CAN NOT wait for the Hammerhead.
I really love the 600i , the only thing stopping me from getting one is the lack of cargo space...
This ship alone is enough to overshadow the entirety of EA
TA ..another Great Video..i would hope in future..you give some specs on Crew ..Guns...engines...Cargo SCU..etc etc....BUT KEEP them Coming
BTW--you missed the Mirror
Reflection in the Head in Capt's Quarters
Should definitely do this again upon release!
I would not mind cruising the stars in style.
i really love star citizen, just wish they would have a free mode, just you in the verse, just so i could go around in my ships with some FPS
It kinda looked like Star Wars Phantoms Menance when they landed the naboo transport on Tatooine.(i think these are spelled right)
Thanks for using FP view!
Great to see another video from you.
To be honest, already owning (and impatiently waiting) a Carrack, this version doesnt tempt me too much, i'd be more interested into seeing the touring version when it comes out, just to roam around like a boss with my friends. It's also very 'lost in space' looking.

Nice of you to drop by aus server mate good to see you !!!
Impressive ship and a great video. I'm having to take a step back from SC though. I don't want to get burnt out on the game before it even releases.
that cockpit field of view!
now this for the 300i
Looks great BUT seems to be so much wasted space throughout the ship. The unmanned turrets are great.

Thanks for uploading in 2K!
Looks nice. Will try a few more videos at 2k in the coming week.
As a pilot in real life I am guessing the attitude indicator is not supposed to move with your crosshairs, sticking to the horizon
Absolutely love these vids but could you use actual proper nomenclature for ships? Left/Right/Top/Bottom all depend upon your perspective. Starbord, Port, Fore, Aft, Dorsal, Ventral are the words used when talking about ship, whether Nautical or Space, lol!
13:02 are vertical gravlock plates so the cargo stacks against the walls
You should use another ship to fly around it. A news van would be killer.
You should take off and land as part of the review!
First ship I'll get when 3.3 lands in October. Happy with my Freelancer till then :)
Great and thorough review!
Thanks Erik
happy with the floating showroom? :)
The pool table will be fun if the artificial gravity fails :P
Where to buy the 600i and 890jump, I like ur ship tour by give all the things outside and inside the ship and a large variety of ship btw.
Nice video as always Tac, keep the content coming.
definatly put my vid too shame great work as usual m8 kinda wish i still had mine but now im more excited than ever for my polaris and hammerhead!
Excellent review! Thank you Tactical Advance.
Best review, worth waiting for! This ship is my goal and my ultimate ship, and I kinda want to earn it in-game as an in-game goal. However, I don't know if I'll be able to keep myself from buying it, damn this ship is amazing!
torpedo food, yes please. Welcome the 600i
Can we start a Carrack Club?
Keep up the great video making mate. When this game finally comes out you'll have a nice following.
No way, it's out already!
This ship was not designed for skirt or kilt use . . . or was it designed with exactly that in mind?
The later ships are getting decidedly less detailed on their exteriors compared to the earlier ones.
Never seen that bathroom, good find 😂
This WIP game reminds me of a walkable Autodesk 3D Demo, every single time.
Wondering when they start bringing life into this massive world.

The turret thing is fucking awesome
I just noticed the lighting glitches on the cargo ramp (20:40-20:50) as it opens and closes back again. I´ve created an issue council case for it if others would like to reproduce it and help the developers work it out! Case number STARC-60969
13:00 this is the actual data storage from the scan
How is this done already and the Carrack is still somewhere in limbo?
Pool games should be in the game later. I doubt that they would give you a pool table and not let you play it.
Yeah, I don't have that kind of money, and I told myself I'm not buying any more ships, but otherwise, I'd love one of these...
Still don't like the crew area though.
That's a lot of space, and very little privacy, and no reason for it when at that scale you could easily have small cabins.

(less relevant since this seems to be an explorer variant, but still.)
Yesssss, I was waiting for your review.
The Crew quarters , the crew member should switch pillow on the other side, whoever wants to read something the light is on the bad side staring him in the face. But I guess thats not very good light for reading activities anyway. =)
Your voice fits perfectly, to introduce that beautiful shit to the people!
