Kara and Nate, I know this is an older vlog, but I want you to know how much I appreciate your content. You both came up in my recommendations a month or two ago from your Tran-Siberian Railway trip. Ever since then I’ve loved watching your new uploads alongside your old ones. Thanks for the great content. Lastly, I love that when I first subscribed you had “only” 50K odd subs, and have burst to nearly 80K. Congrats, it’s well deserved. I know I am soooo late on this vlog (I should be working) but I noticed Nate is a goofy foot surfer! I learned how to surf while living on Oahu (Hawaii) and it's the best! Once you get the hang out of it, it's easy. I miss it so much, now I live on the east coast. Those foam boards are great to learn on but a pain to paddle out on. The epoxy resin boards are much lighter and they glide :)
I'm here in 2022 and loving it. You guys keep it real. I love feeling like I'm on the adventure with you. Cant wait to catch up to the van life series.

Sorry but you were in Miraflores, but Lima is much bigger and all open everyday. A good food corridor is Aviación Avenue in San Borja area. Moreover, Puerto Azul is a 'huarique'. Huarique are sort of tucked away restaurants where it is said that serve food prepared in traditional family recipe but costs three times as much as normal restaurants. Regards from Lima.
Ok, so one thing about me... I'm a carbs girl. Especially bread. And that restaurante, el Pan de la Chola, is bread heaven. All those crusty loaves... and croissants... I'm drooling over here. And what is with that sugary croissant thing? Yuuummmmm.
Peru is 85% Catholic and most of South America is that or higher. Just saying. :) By the way, don't listen to anyone do what you do because you love it either organized tours or not it's your life and your dime do what makes you happy and feels right at the time. Screw everyone else. :) Just saying. I love what you do no matter what.
