Totally agree- the cases make these figures look like museum pieces or works of art! Top figures to! All highly sought and worth a considerable amount! 29p for a Yak Face that is now worth around £1500 to £2000 is a rather smart buy. The Trilogo Leia is another rare figure that has rocketed up in price as has the Trilogo Luke Bespin. Anything Boba Fett is just up in the stratosphere! Thanks for showing.
Thanks my friend, yes, a few pricey pieces there. They deserve the acrylic treatment. Looking forward to doing some more soon. Gonna do mini rigs next😉
Jules for future reference if you ever have a figure worried about sliding in on the tops or sides you can cut out a piece from a manila folder to help guide it. Thinner than a ruler. Yours worked out well though. Those cases are sharp. I only have 1 carded figure in my collection but they make GW acrylic for loose figures with the cardbacks and they certainly make it pop on display.
The cases certainly make them look like instant museum pieces. There is quite a robust vintage scene here in Australia with plenty of live toy auctions on Facebook from reputable sellers. I can tell you from the prices some of these figures sell for in the Aussie market you have a very valuable collection. The top seller was a vintage Yak face (Kenner I think) that sold for over $11,000 AUD
Blimey, that's a fortune compared to what I paid for them back in the day. It does seem, Facebook is quite often the place to go for vintage toys these days.🙂
Hi Jules, I initially discovered your channel when I was learning about vintage Penguin paperbacks but my main thing is Vintage Star Wars so when I saw your carded collection vids I was over the moon. Take care, Jay at Bantha Bros
Hello Jules, excellent collection that is absolutely beautiful! The cases really make ur carded figures pop with all that shine. Also, Amanaman pudding? Sounds delicious...
Great video Jules. The figures are looking great. The boy on the Death Star box is Bob Brechin’s Son I believe, Bob worked for Palitoy.
Ah, I have heard of Bob of course through his friendship with Tony at Analogue Toys. I didn't know that, how cool🙂

Great idea, I'll bear it in mind for future figures. Not bothered casing up my loose figures just yet but I'm sure they'll look great 😃
