I just bought a b5 s4 and on my way to get some goodies, I saw an FB and got all wet. This or a crv to build will be my next car 😢😢 jealous of you both.
Fb owner here. If you love cars and you have never driven an fb, do your self a favor and drive one. I let my good friends drive it every now and then and they never not smile. You truly feel every piece of the real driving experience. Thumbs up on the video!
100% agree mate they are unreal cars and are truly underrated in todays internet filled society.. guess the guys that enjoyed these cars where well before the net was around but I made this vid so people could appreciate these mad little Rx's!!
I owned an 83 Mazda RX7 with the rotory engine for many years up til 2007. Loved that car. Awesome!!!! Powder blue. It ran great and had the modified engine. What I loved most was stepping down on the gas and feeling her rear end drop and then kick ass!!!! God how I loved that car. I always felt those years of Mazda would become collectors pieces. Never would have sold but needed the money. Only problem I ever had was a three seperate times it would give me trouble not wanting to turn over. That required garage time. Other than that.... once the motor wore out on the cover on the headlights and wouldn't raise. Needed an alternator once and I was able to cross reference another brand that was cheaper but was exact same alternator. Hang onto the RX7 in those years if u own one!!! I had a red rose engraved on the drivers door window and I'm still looking for it lol.
My neighbor has a 79 w/21k showroom time capsule can't wait to get my hands on it.. I miss all my rx'$, 82,83,82 &. 81.. & 83. 60mph burnouts doughnuts for days and the smell in side the cabin was a scent that still gets me 12k rpm shifting
I owned a 1984 GS from 1990-95, it was an incredible little car and surprisingly it was amazing in the snow and rain considering it was a rear wheel car. The car handled very, very well, excellent engineering.
I miss my 85. 13b swapped with Mikuni sidedraft carb with Mikuni intake, bridge port, racing beat header, 3 inch exhaust to a flowmaster muffler, racing beat suspension, and partially gutted. She was a badass fun car. Lost in a divorce.
Hi gents!!! I have. A modified 1985 RX7, I’m trying to reach out to see where are good sites or places to find exterior and interior parts replacement for these bad girls?????
You're about 3cm taller than me. I've owned an FB for 15 years with no issue in that regard. This car is small but when it was designed its seats were positioned as low as they could be. Besides, it is an Rx-7 you are talking about, go get it!
I had a white 79 savanna rx7 full body kit mags regret selling it when I did cause they worth heaps now :( funny thing locked my keys in the back of it one day after came home from golfing and was able to unlock it with a screwdriver and piece of wire, now I know why rx7's were stolen heaps. lol
Can't wait till I can get my hands on one I'd like to find a 12a with a automatic (bad knee can't use a clutch) and make a weekend cruiser/part time daily out of it
@Eli Choi. I'm thinking of doing a hand clutch using bike parts but it'll be a h pattern I was also thinking possibly a clutch less 4 speed (like in nascar)
Just got an fb as my first car, so happy
My first was a fc... the same day as you I think I got it Monday but what are the odds😂
yuttus that’s awesome bro have fun with that thing I love mine

Time to get another one before they go up in value 😬
TEX Productions i had found a guy selling 2 79’s for $2,500 but the guy quit responding to me when i asked to come get them 🤔
I always love the 1st gen RX7 with the simple clean-cut rear light. Just like the early 80s Porsche 911 and the first 928 model
Can’t wait to cop one
Yes matey get on it!
Fucking love it... from jimmy la fiebre caliente rotoey club of Puerto Rican 🇵🇷
First gen is the most beautiful one in my opinion.
It is, I specially consider the profile design to be more beautiful than those of the FCs and FDs
@@franciscocampos8857 totally agreed, the long hood short tail design is a beauty and timeless.

What helps the 12a give the classic 13b brap brap sound though?
Porting
Man, I'm 6.1 and I want one of these cars. I'll probably be 6.3 until I get it. The only problem is. Will I be able to fit inside the car?
