Jacob is a combination of strength and mercy: and this is why Jacob is called the "greatest of the patriarchs" by the Jews. Righteousness must be combined with truth, and unbending must be combined with kindness. Knowing when to express Strength and Judgement and when to express Grace = Wisdom.
