    Sounds like a Pat Metheny song... I know they're friends and all but it almosts sounds as if its him playing and like if it was one of his compositions...

      Indeed, Pat Metheny learned a few beautiful things with Toninho. It's a good example of cross- fertilization.

      I think you got it backwards. First off Wes Montgomery was the first of this style of 'soft jazz/bosa nova' guitar playing in the
      1960's which George Benson 'popularized' and then spread to all sorts of players including Mr Horta (I presume) and then to
      Metheny
