I imagine a game where you have to go back underground and help Aphys and Mettaton repair the CORE, because its overheating and malfunctions can damage not only the underground but even the surface (kind of like Chernobyl). You go, on a new "map" of the "staff only" places of the core, decoding security systems and rebooting systems like when you have to enter the CORE's core, you see that the cause of all this is Gaster, Even though he is confused , he is not evil or aggressive like in most games or fanons, but he is as friendly, kind and innocent as the monsters, and he is grateful that you saved him, he is intelligent, clever and somewhat wise, but he is not a being omniscient as he is seen in the fanon, he was not completely aware of what was in there, but vaguely his mind was wandering there... along the way you tell him everything that happened while he was outside Even though, without him in the CORE code, it starts to become unstable... so he has to sacrifice himself, giving his souls to the core, at his last resistance he uses his soul to use the core's last magic, repairing it. the thing. why this whole conflict between monsters and humans started with... he creates a vessel for asriel, a blank soul that can contain astiel's determination left in flowey. (and body, that monsters' bodies are made of the magic of their souls) I don't know how to code, but someone please do this.
Unfortunately there was an accident, the doctor had fallen into his own creation, his ability to change the world with his own hands as he saw fit was his downfall and he was annihilated by his own creation; the core while self sustaining is monitored by the Royal Scientist, Doctor Alphys. Somehow she learns something new about the Core every day; maybe one day she'll meet whoever had built it that is if it wasn't always there in the first place.
