- We got a lottttt of requests to watch and react to this video. We had no idea how touching this would be!!! And of course, like all the thai commercial's we've seen it had me crying!
We literally thought this was going to be about a teacher and didn't know how it related to us - but we were surprised to find out!!! thank you thank you for this. Also we don't know the story at all or when this happened - do you guys have any information to share with us about the real guy? He's definitely a legend!
Always appreciate these thai commercials; they're on a whole different level when it comes to catching your heart or pulling on your emotions. Honestly me and my husband have both enjoyed taking these quick breaks in our busy week just to sit down and watch and relax (because this pandemic has been so crazy) So thank YOU guys for all the support !!

4:26 All Thai medical students always pay respect and show their gratitude to all donated cadavers (we also call them "Ar-Jaan-Yai" which means "a professor" or "a principal" because although they have passed away but they're still teaching students with their bodies) before they study in a class and the place in the video is the real place. I had a chance to study there as well, as a Thai traditional medical student. That is one of the most remarkable experience in my life. Btw, love your reaction as always. Please do more

In Thailand, we define the word teacher, like a hired boat. Thus, boat hire means the time when the teacher is on duty for students as take customers across the river to land.
January 16th of every year is Teacher's Day to commemorate teachers who give knowledge. Thailand has a Teacher's Day in every school across the country.

He is the first one starting the body devoting system for medical education in Thailand. At that time, many people were stick to the religious ritual like funeral ceremony, they, themselves or their relatives had belief to bury or burn after dead. Specially in some religious that to cut or do sth. To the dead body mean you don’t respect the dead. But this guy would not mind that he just would like to dedicate himself to teaching even his death. Respect.

@@TheNomadWandering I’m just very motivated by injustice and when I feel people are wronged like my husband by some random stranger who can’t do anything but be bitter and make negative comments I talk back. And trust me I’ve actually been kind so no I don’t think I destroyed anything. Lol I was actually very nice because I can tell you just have some insecurities going on but if you were just a straight up troll then I would have been different. Seriously though. the meaning of "boat hire" is that In the past, Thai people used boats as their primary means of transportation, Thai people always travel by boat to certain places, because we have lots of canals for agriculture and commercial purposes, that is why we got boat taxi kind of occupation back then, so there is an implication in Thai comparing teacher with boat hire/boat taxi, you know while the student is on the boat, it's his/her responsibility to roll or sail the boat to the destination and dropping off the student when they are graduated and keep rolling, then pick up the new a student, and so on and so on.
I know it's not nice to compare teachers, so that is why there is a song that honors our Teacher.
