Having a lower scaling is not the same as doing less damage if you give them a 10% damage reduction or lower their mastery cap it just means they have a lower scaling but since they have double the abilities they still do just as much if not more than the people they fight the damage reduction is just to balance it so they aren’t doing 2x amount of damage of anyone they fight instead they are just doing 1/3 or 2/3 more damage than regular players
