I could have used this information when I was a kid. The elephant in the room is that many of us never had a chance to fully form as human beings without having to deal with these nutters -- narcissists, sociopaths, sadists, bullies -- many of us see many of these personality disorders in grade school, before we even know who we are. Grateful it wasn't in my family. We had our own problems. But when you have to deal with it everyday at school, it's almost worse. You almost spend more time at school, than you do at home.
Agree with Marie! Avoid letting on how you really feel about this person. The truth always reveals itself in time. People will associate the negative way you feel about that person with you! Drama will follow. If you say nothing, people will think you’re lovely when this person’s true colors become noticed!
Marie you're a big reason why I did get through a lot of things in my life for the better. Thank you so much!! Please continue to give awesome excellent advice. Have a great safe day! 😊
I'm so happy you're still making videos like these. You have been my comfort youtuber for years. I just wanted to thank you for taking the time out of your day to make advice videos. I don't have anyone I feel comfortable going to, and I feel like no one really understands how I feel so I always resort to your youtube for comfort. I really appreciate everything you do. ❤️
Super helpful, something many people never talk about. Thank you, Marie. I have a very close friend, and I don't have siblings, so she is my closest person. She is now been in a relationship with a man for a few years who has made her leave her career, close her office and sit at home. He has also somehow kept her other close friends away from her. She used to be an active, super high performer. So, this guy doesn't like me at all, because I told my friend once, "someone who loves you will not make you quit your career." Now she has financial problems and is more and more dependent on this guy. Anyway, now my friend is irritable with me. I can tell he has talked behind my back, because today, when I was talking about a whole different person, my friend told me, "you say that because you are not in a relationship". She proceeded to say my ideas are because of my ethnicity and because of my father... I am a little scared that he will ruin our friendship. These little things are becoming more obvious since I graduated for the third time and that is something he could not easily achieve with all his money. I am trying to be nice and polite. I cannot have many of our usual conversations with my friend, because she just repeats whatever her boyfriend says as if she no longer is an independent thinker and it is just sad. I am honestly, worried about my friend and also about our friendship. I don't know what the best course of action would be. Thank you so much :)
Whew my brothers fiancee is a piece of work. Anyhow I'm in their wedding in October. She was adamant about the bridesmaids wear a ponytail & I have short hair. I think this is over the top. Anyhow I'm trying to be civil towards her to get thru this wedding. Once this event is over I will not be calling/ contacting her. If I have to see her for Christmas or Thanksgiving then fine. But I will keep my distance much as possible.
I hope you are not growing your hair out to put in a ponytail . What are you all? A bunch of 6 year old girls? Are you her backup singers that have to match? I would cut my hair, same as always.
@@saran3214 Thanks for your encouragement. Unfortunately I have to get hair extensions or a wig for this wedding, which I DON'T wear. Once this wedding is over I can throw the wig/ hair extensions away. To me it's ridiculous because I have to spend extra $ on this fake hair, dress, accessories on top of getting them a wedding gift/ gift card. Absolutely Absurd
@@saran3214 YES Precisely my brother is soo in love with this chick he's not noticing these behaviors/ antics. If she's doing this BS planning the wedding eventually he's going to see this in the marriage. Only a matter of time.
People dont like people for a variety of reasons, some of those reasons are justified and some arent. If this person isnt related to you try to have as little or nothing to do with them as possible.

I would be charging her for hair extensions or pulling out of the bridal party. She’s being unreasonable!
