I continue to enjoy your podcasts as your knitted items are all beautiful! Concerning the top you’re knitting for your friend: I have made my adult daughter( who lives 5 hours away) 2 knitted tops. I was able to successfully knit them to fit her by getting gauge, having her bust measurements, and having her length measurements. Trust yourself and your abilities. You can do this! 💕

I tried a crochet cast on for socks and it is really great. Very stretchy and neat. Oddly, I rarely attach memories to my time knitting garments. My memories are mostly of when I wore the garment or when the person I made it for wore it.

Hi Nicole, thanks for your message and the tip about the Crochet Cast on; i may give this a go next time I'm knitting socks 🙂. That is interesting to hear your take on old knitted garments and how you feel about them and your memories; that you remember wearing the garments. We are all different and wonderfully unique.
