amazing to see the range of sea life out at the chatham island! pretty cool to see the paua guts used for bait but didn't expect you to use it on the moki was expecting tuatuas haha. milan even caught a weka as a bonus haha
That was an Action packed episode guys! After years of fishing shore and offshore, I still find there's something special and accelerating about fishing from the shore.
How good was that wharf fishing and your footage of it all, Nato?? Awesome trip, boys, which all came together for you thanks to some good old country hospitality!
Absolute banger of an episode, loved the variation of terrain you managed to squeeze in. Would love to see you back there targeting Puka off the rocks! Big berley trail?! Or would that bring in too many sharks? 🤙🏽
Milan and Toby wanted to fish some cliffs that had 80 plus meters of water and Puka have been caught there before. The wind and swell meant that spot was just to wild for the entire time we were there. Plans are in play 😎 chur chur 👍
hi guys! i was anchored up around one of the cardinal markers in taurunga harbour a few weeks back and seen you guys pull up on ya sojourn and read the name the lateral line and thought to myself that was an awesome name for a boat! and how colourful milans hat was hahah got home and chucked on some youtube and your channel poped up, i clicked when i seen the boat and woaah wicked way to find my favorite fishing show creators again!! so stoked to see your back into it, I have been binge watching the episodes ever since keep up the amazing content bros! churrr chur
I’m guessing you seen Hamish and his boat? We sold our Sojourn well over a year ago and have Been mostly land based fishing ever since. Another boat is on its way 👍 chur chur for watching and commenting 😎😁
Spectacular episode..... Churs for fishing and filming in sub-optimal conditions..... Milan the tin arse, caught his Trumpeter off the rocks.....😮😮😮 Excellent stuff Toby and Tiffany... 🙏🙏💪💪🤟🤟🇳🇿🇳🇿😊😊✅✅
Many thanks for part 2 of the Chatham adventure. Once again the drone had some amazing footage that you would never know was there. Amazing Island, amazing fishing. Cheers Pete.😃👍
Another great video Nato and what a beautiful island and great to see you catch a fish to so until your next video Nato Chur Chur to you and Milan from your Aussie brother John
Amazing content as always guys! would love to see more shore/horizontal jigging as i have always found it a effective method to catch fish from shore or boat.
Truth? Truth is only…… one’s opinion of what is true and what is true is something factual that can be proven by way of evidence. Funny that you swear to tell the truth, the whole truth and nothing but the truth when in a court room then a 🤪 chur chur 😎😁👍
Thanks for that comment, I’d caught a couple in nelson estuary at different times and had no idea what they were, no one here knew what I was talking about when I described them.
Awesome video once again After listening to the same music for a few years overlayed over the scenery shots I still can’t get enough. All of that music is epic and goes perfectly with your shots. Keep up the good work
We had fun and caught fish yes but Milan and Toby really wanted to fish some cliffs that had 80 and 100m deep water in front of them. Big harpuka have been caught there land based before. Big kings are there also 😁 chur chur 👍
man ive had some fun spearfishing big blue moke theyr just stupid fish and think im their protector or something swimming along with me under my belly etc, last year i popped 3 in 1 dive this year another 2 in 1 dive.
next evolution of fishing is a hand-line (but with automatic control from the transmitter) off a drone and sensors that sends the drone back to the owner when it gets a fish on...
Hello The Lateral Line , can you tell me about the Daiwa 24 Certate 5000 . Is it enough power catching snapper , jew or tailor o the rock .Please let me know .Thank you for your time .
I’ve Caught heaps of snapper on the certate but we don’t have Jew or trailor here so I’m unsure how tuff they are. I have caught king fish around 10kg on the certate 👍 chur chur

amazing to see the range of sea life out at the chatham island! pretty cool to see the paua guts used for bait but didn't expect you to use it on the moki was expecting tuatuas haha. milan even caught a weka as a bonus haha

Can I get a name or where I can listen to the song at 20:15 bro? One love❤
All music is created by Dick Johnson. I just tried to find the track name but I don’t know where I got that track from? I’ll check with Dick 😁
@TheLateralLine that would be killer, please do bro😍😍😍 need a pre fishing tournament pump up and that 🎵 song is perfect
I Tex Dick and as of right now the only place you can hear the music is on the lateral line 😬 but he is looking into it, maybe a lateral line mix????
Its on 😂 😂man that fellaz funny 🤣
Always good if you can make people laugh 😎
@@TheLateralLine well you guys do an awesome job of that haha. Really enjoy the episodes. By far my favorite channel. Keep it up boys!! 💪
Chur chur my brother 😎 we appreciate the comments 😁
Hey guys just watched your recent video the slimy fish that you said you caught over in Australia Melbourne snooty trevally they are very good eating
Over here we call them warehou. But my Melbourne mate calls them snottys. We got some 2kg
Models off the rocks where we diddnt go. Next time.
Thanks for that comment, I’d caught a couple in nelson estuary at different times and had no idea what they were, no one here knew what I was talking about when I described them.
Snotty, that’s it 👍 Toby did tell me what it was called but I forgot 🤪 chur chur 😎😁👍
And they are some of the best raw fish I have had. Cheers
We had plenty of fish to eat at that stage 😎
You guys are great
Chur chur 😎😁👍 we really appreciate the comment
I don't like I love Lateral Lines you guy are the best in Aotearoa.❤❤ cheers to Toby my dream to get to the Chatham Islands
Well, we really appreciate the love brother 😎 so good to hear people enjoy the lateral line 😁 chur chur for the comment my brother 👍

After listening to the same music for a few years overlayed over the scenery shots I still can’t get enough. All of that music is epic and goes perfectly with your shots. Keep up the good work
Dick has offered to supply a few new tracks a couple times in the past but I keep getting drawn back to the same tracks 😂 chur chur for the comment 😁
Hahaha that Toby is my kinda guy. Hard case!
Toby is a bloody good man 😎 chur chur
Chatham weka is certainly tasty, maybe do a Bolar Triangle vid getting wekas with the bow Nato 👍
Wekas with the bow would be a challenge that I’m willing to except. We have had invites to hunt pigs there to 😁 lots of pigs there! Chur chur
I heard some nonsense in this episode about "foiled plans". Sure seemed like an amazing episode to me!
We had fun and caught fish yes but Milan and Toby really wanted to fish some cliffs that had 80 and 100m deep water in front of them. Big harpuka have been caught there land based before. Big kings are there also 😁 chur chur 👍
Off topic…but just got my Lateral Line T shirt. Quality item, thick soft cotton. 👍

man ive had some fun spearfishing big blue moke theyr just stupid fish and think im their protector or something swimming along with me under my belly etc, last year i popped 3 in 1 dive this year another 2 in 1 dive.
I’ve heard they make amazing sashimi? Chur chur 😎😁👍
@@TheLateralLine can confirm they do make a nice raw fish as long as i manage to get some butterfish to fry up for the kids.
Awesome 😎 chur chur 😁
Amazing❤
Chur chur 😎😁👍
Milan with a full thicc Mo would look deadly!
That would be epic 🤪😂 chur chur 👍
🔥🔥
Geez who owns that super yacht?
That’s a question I don’t have an answer for….. he or she would be an interesting man or woman to know I’m guessing 😁 chur chur 😂
@@TheLateralLine Looks like French Cruise ship Le Laperouse from Ponant.
next evolution of fishing is a hand-line (but with automatic control from the transmitter) off a drone and sensors that sends the drone back to the owner when it gets a fish on...
Drone technology is getting pretty bloody good 😎 chur chur 😁

Great footage but your species identification should be upgraded. Kahawai…..correctly called Australian Salmon 😂
🤪😂 that’s a first 😂 we use to get corrected on the way we pronounce Kahawai 😁 chur chur my Aussie brother 😎
