Love your content bro but cmon man you know better than to pop paua with a knife especially just for fun. Use a proper paua knife to minimise damage to the paua and avoid them bleeding out. As a seasoned hunter gatherer I’d assume you knew this already?
I do know what a proper plastic paua knife is but I don't use one I just use my lil knife it's not the end of the world mate I'm sure the fishery will survive
@@blokescancooktoo yea there is an abundant there I’m sure it will survive too but that’s no excuse to ignore sustainability because it’s a healthy fisherie. love your content bro learnt heaps from you but just disagree with that that’s all
@Rkatekt I get where your coming from 100% and when I lived in northland I wouldn't dive without one however I primarily dive taranaki nowadays and I know what's legal and what's not and I take my ten with my knife and that's that. Having a little play while I'm in the chatams is acceptable is it not I still took less than 10 paua even if you count the ones I popped and didn't put in the bag so even if they died and ended up cod food there is no loss there
Frustrating. Jeez, Seeing all that delicious kai in the water there in the Chathams. Bueatiful.blo°dy expensive dive to go° from NZ to there to become p°ossibly shark bait°🦈 good vid i enjoyed it° Like & subscribed•
Yeah, who would have thought of malt vinegar and onions in the kina juice. Chilled is nice in the kina brine. I'll give it a go. Might use white vinegar az well. I'll
