Though I got tax code adjusted for 2021-22.For the previous years, I didn't get any payment out cheque/ credit back in Bacs. When called HMRC, I was informed I need to claim via self assessment.But self assessment doesn't give any option to claim this. Any guidance to claim back dated marriage allowance please? My HMRC login indicates marriage allowance applied to previous 4 tax years retrospectively.
My dad earns 56k and my mom is a housewife with no taxable income. Would my parents be eligible? I’m guessing no because my dad’s income is over the threshold.
