Enjoyed listening to your take on Marvel's Conan Matt. Nice to hear a perspective from someone that is more into the comics than the original novels, or pulp fiction of Conan from back in the early 30's. So glad that you enjoyed the issues, and hope you continue to finish your run brother! I like Conan as well, I have #2 and up, I sold #1, seven years ago to get married. Love the comic but love my wife more. Lol, great topic Matt
Yes I like Conan, he has tons of great stories, what's not to like?! The only thing I don't like is that early issues are prohibitively priced so I'll never own the full run!!
I am in full agreement, 70s Conan and D&D I was into, and the hockey cards. It would be $$$ if my Topps cards from the 70s and early 80s were O-Pee-Chee instead. The Bêlit issues really saw Conan mature and become more like a real man. I was disappointed when she was killed off but there were those who wanted to set Conan "free" again, after 3 1/2 years.
