So relaxing, cozy, warm and so many awesome ideas for winter decorations ❤. At 64 I feel like the world is so much different than when I grew up, too fast, everyone always in a hurry and so much negativity. What a blessing to watch your channel and find some much needed relaxation, peace and coziness
You really made a cozy home for the holidays! I love that you spend time to make your own decoration! Handmade is always prettier and you always come up with creative ideas! I wish I could smell all the essential oils, the cinnamon and the apple cookies! Happy holidays! 🎄
Thank you so much Iris! Handmade always gives off a different kind of vibe for me, knowing that someone took the time to make it. That makes it extra special :) Happy Holidays 🎄
Love that you use natural things to decorate. Between the pine branches, cinnamon sticks and orange slices, your home must smell amazing! At first I thought the candles, with the decorated jars, were going to be gifts. They would make such a lovely gift! Then I saw how you placed them in the tray and really liked how that looked. Always enjoy your videos, Merry Christmas! 🎄
I'm sorry for my absence, but I went away on business, but am so glad and grateful you've remained, spreading peace and goodwill with those beautiful things you made. You have blessed and, continue blessing my friends and my fam, ily. Thank you for everything you shared. Thank you for being you. 💚
I'm just getting around to watch some Christmas TH-cam videos, and I loved this! You and I are defiantly kindred spirits. I love to keep my decor simple and bring food and the outdoors in :) Now I need to go make cookies, yours made me hungry. Blessing and Merry Christmas!
Oooo oranges! Love love! And the pine…candles, I used to make them and miss those…yours looked great..the cookies yes! What a cozy Vlog! Love the little fireside! ♥️🐕🐕☕️🐈🐈⬛😊
Beautiful decor and cozy homemaking video, thank you!! If you put a jar or other plastic container inside the metal pitcher, then fill it it with water-- instead of the can itself, you'll protect your metal from rusting, in the long run. :)
lovely! I also made some orange garland and I must they took some time to dry in the oven. It was all worth it as they came out smelling really nice :)
Happy holidays to you too my dear 🌲⛄😘 That was lovely simple home decor video. I loved all the decorations you made. They were made with love and that's what matter 😍 I'm sure your candles smelled divine. Same your apple cookies xxx
Thank you so much Emmy! Yes, these are indeed made with love and I think that's what makes a cozy home, by filling with things we make and love. Happy Holidays love ♥️
I really love all the natural things you do, and the spiced apple cookies look delicious! I am not keen on all the chocolately, gooey desserts that yoj can buy, the old recipes I so love and prefer! I just found your channel, so peaceful and calm and relaxing! I am a subscriber now! Thank you for sharing x
This is great! keeping things simple and high quality 👌 When you take your time and create your own decorations they mean so much more! Filled with your energy and care, they're way better than store bought. I loved all your natural decor! I keep meaning to make candles ,, and yours look so lovely ! New subscriber🕯❄ Happy Holidays!!☃️🎄🕯
Thank you so much! I couldn't have said better myself. Handmade items hold a certain kind of positive energy because of the care we give them. Happy Holidays to you as well 💕
What was it that looked grated that you put the oils into ? It ended up in small canning jars. The glass containers that had the dark outline of deer, & tree's was done how ? Why was none of this described in the description area ? All that was there was the cookie recipe. Beautifully filmed & you have a great home. Are you married ? just curious who helps you when you need to move heavy items. loved the cranberries.
I just melt the soy wax in a double boiler over simmering water, add essential oils, then pour into a glass container with the wick, and let cool. I recommend using all natural products so it'll burn cleaner :)
It took about 4 hrs to dry. The thickness of the slices will affect how fast they dry. I lower the oven rack to a notch below the mid point. Then bake at 180F. After about 2 hours, I flip them. Keep checking on them every 30 mins or so after the initial 2 hours. The thinner slices will dry faster. Whichever ones dry first, just remove them from oven.
@@TheSimpleBrunette I appreciate you took the time to give me this information. I always wanted to make a garland with orange slices...MERRY CHRISTMAS!
I put them on the lower rack of the oven and baked them at 180F for about 4 hrs, making sure to flip them after 2 hrs. If there are still any moisture left, just let them air dry for a few hours. Hope this helps :)
Hello, how are you my beautiful dear, I hope you are well and you are the love of the first, every year and you are fine on the occasion of the New Year. I wish you happiness from my heart in all your life.🎄🎄🎄🎄🎄
