I don't think this is a love song, I think is a song about being confident to tell your feelings to someone. Say what you want and what you feel takes courage
ryujin is my oppar and rosé is my mommy I mean, I never hated on them for their old concept, that was the reason I loved them, since no one else was like them and they were unique. If their concept is gonna evolve I kinda hoped it would go in a different direction, as twice already does love songs and the love message is vastly overused. At least I wanted them to keep the concept for a little bit longer since these days all we get are girl crush or cutesy from fourth gen girl groups, and their concept worked for them really well. I still love Itzy the same, they’re not different people and their music still has the Itzy Touch. but I do get what you mean about some hypocritical fans that wanted them to change their concept and are now hating on them for that, those people suck. If they wanted a change they should be happy with it. no hate to itzy cuz like I said I love them so much regardless, just my opinion on it 🤷🏻♀️

I really enjoyed the song, although wannabe was sooo hard to top and this one didn’t do it for me, it’s still a great song. also non-Itzy fans like this comeback more (my friend really doesn’t like their songs bc of how experimental they sound, but she actually enjoyed not shy) so I’m glad they’re gaining new fans, and ur right abt the confidence thing, I’m glad it’s kinda similar to their old songs in that way. I think it will just take some getting used to for me since Itzy hasn’t done love oriented title tracks before (but you did make a good point so I’m liking this better, thank you :) one thing I was slightly disappointed in was that there was not key “point” choreo that I noted (in the mv) like u know how they’ve always had those iconic moves but I feel like there wasn’t really one for this. however since they said it was their hardest dance yet I’m really excited to see a proper dance practice because I’m sure there’s something I missed because Itzy best female fourth gen dancers periodt.
