Why wouldn't they work? Also, when mudding you should be spinning the tires a lot more so that you going the mud off of them and have fresh(ish) tread hitting the ground
Because they are only tie down points rated to the kerb weight of the car. They are not high rated recovery points suitable for loaded snatch/kinetic recoveries or pulling loads greater than car weight such as in deep mud.
