Hello I just discover your channel for the first time I love it so much I’m watching you from the bay islands of Honduras love gardens sending hugs to you sista
👋🏾 You have a lovely plant space. AKA Jungle. My name is June from Virginia. I call my plant space Junegle . My favorite plant is Philodendron El Choco Red which is blooming all summer. She’s on a self watering moss pole along with Micans, Camposportoanums, Verrucosums and Syngonium Rayii. All velvet leaf. Self Watering Pot. 👍🏾Video. 🪴Happy Planting🌿
Greetings from Ghana. Great video. Would you mind sharing the ratios of each component? Have you tried rice husk instead of coco peat? It’s great for aeration and moisture retention too.
Thank you for watching from Ghana. I often use equal proportions of cocopeat, soil or sand, and compost. I sometimes add more compost as a top layer depending on the plant (I won’t do that for ZZ plants because water retention could cause the leaves to rot). No, I haven’t tried rice husks yet, but I want to. It’s not commercially available here in Lagos. Thanks for the tip. 😊
Hello! Thanks for asking. I buy coco peat from a company called PMG coconut industries. I’ve included a link their IG handle in the description. You can also find them under the same name on Facebook. They ship wholesale to the north or would tell you where you can get it from.
I mostly use the charcoal as the bottom layer, and mix all the other materials together. But for some plants which need a chunky mix, I add small pieces of coconut husk and mix everything together (no layers).
Great and informative video. Well made!

I'm from Niger Republic, watching your video from New York. Do you have an address where I can buy cocopeat blocks in Kano or Katsina?

Please where do you get your coconut pit from
If you are in Nigeria, reach out to @pmgcoconutindustries on Facebook and Instagram.
Hi. Is that a shredder you were using? Can you say where you got it. Thanks
Yes, it is a shredder. We got it on Amazon. It's one of our best garden investments. I should make a video about it soon.
Do you mix all materials together or u add them in layers
