Hi Sareena!
I would recommend using Blue based shampoos moving forward. Blue-based shampoos off-set brassy, orange tones in the hair versus Violet-based shampoos, which tones yellow tones in the hair. Using Violet-based shampoos on brassy, orange tones will be ineffective and you will not notice any difference in your hair. I hope this helps you in the future.
