old stuck up

- Around Christmas, a number of engines were sent to the Island of Sodor to help where ever needed. But the engines have noticed something off with one of them. Though he acts stuck up, looks can be deceiving. For this diesel does not come to improve, but to find answers to a mystery that few even notice...
Nothing used to make this video belongs to me.
I really hope nothing happens to Henry, Edward or James throughout the story. We've lost too many good engines.
we also have thomas, and donald left as well
37:32 After watching this and re-watching the last episode, I'm starting to wonder if the Foundation has another engine, alongside Warship.
Great as ever, Daylight! The plot continues to thicken and its nice to have a change of pace after the intensity of the last installment!
Belle and Splodge are part of MOD.
Well they have diesel 10 since she has a claw
So, the owner moved to Muffle Mountain in America, and his daughter was believed to be involved in dark practices? I wonder if that owner was Burnett Stone, and that Lady is actually his daughter reincarnated as some sort of deity of darkness. What if the magic railroad that Lady inhabits and takes her victims too is some magical realm that was created by the daughter with the dark forces she was associated with? Or maybe her father, Burnett Stone created it somehow while in America in an attempt to bring his daughter back, with the soul of his daughter being placed into a steam engine that he found. However, her soul was still corrupted by the dark forces, and as a result she continues to go out on her reign of terror as the mysterious locomotive taking the souls of others to feed the evil forces that are still a part of her.
It also seems D 40125 found out what happened to D 261 from 'Henry's Forrest'. In that episode we see D 261 blame Henry for his misfortune with the Duke and Dutchess after accidently making him late. We then see him follow Henry into the forest where the strange lights mentioned in this episode appear, and when D 261 derails attempting to attack Henry, the lights seemingly kill him, we the see the lights appear in front of Henry before he wakes up, where he ends up thinking it was all a dream. It appears 40125 saw 261's remains based on the credits, in which he finally got his closure over the loss of his friend.
I wonder how all these events are going tie into the end of the story when it eventually comes, it will be interesting to see why everything that has happened in this series happened the way it did. Looking forward to it.
Isn’t D261 and 40125 share the same basis? Shouldn’t they be siblings instead?
@@Dodgerunner4792 Yeah your right, it would make them siblings.
Or Burnett Stones daughter has control over lady and then making her do all these things possibly to build up a new Cult Army I'll go in the more detail
@@Dodgerunner4792 Likely siblings, or really close friends.
Thats just sad
This was actually a pleasant episode unlike the atmosphere of some the other episodes, nice character arc for the diesel. Got some suspicions about that manager’s daughter though….
I presume that this is a new forest horrors episode
It’s in the playlist
This is cool
The credits give me goosebumps with the implications where D261's face is covered, yet we see some red glow below it similar to the lights that initially attacked him which makes me wonder what really happened.
Considering he was a friend to Old stuck up, yet in the end he wanted to throw away the only momento of his friend really makes me ponder if D261 is actually now "possessed" in some way, especially with the lights disappearing after that encounter and the red glow below the bar covering his face.
Seems like the MOD has some interest in him too since they've kept him there rather than send him for scrap like Toby, Gordon or the other deceived engines, so I do think it may be revealed later as he clearly plays a more important role in all this.
Either that or the train Warship was hauling implies they're slowly and quietly scrapping him in the forest, although if that were the case I do think D40125 would've said something rather than remain willingly silent.
The Note in the credits says "Will expedite the disposal of Remains".
They were already Scrapping D261. It just seems that the process has been slow going, likely to avoid triggering the "Roaming Eyes" now infesting his remains.
6:46 There's Rebecca pulling a train; actually kinda nice to see her in this series.
It's also nice to get this breather episode after the excitement of the last one. I was scanning the backgrounds looking for Lady and winced in fear when Henry was getting mechanical troubles. But giving the engines this stormless moment to process everything and get on with the lives is a neat change of pace.
Good for D 40125, who the engines really need to give a better name to if he's staying, to get some closure in all this. Revealing some tasty bits of lore in the process was good too, thanks Spencer. If he is staying, he'd better shake off this loner attitude lest he become a victim next storm, make more friends, and learn the lord's prayer.
So, those lights weren't caused by that crash and don't seem nearly as regular as Lady's activities. And about D 261, does anyone else find it strange how every disappeared engine has become one of Lady's deceived thralls, except for him? I don't remember seeing him in the chase sequence last episode and the fate of his body sounds very different to what Lady does. The lights and Lady are separate players I reckon, but how separate?
I need to rewatch the Johnny Cuba episode and refresh my memory about that plane crash; that seems important.
Maybe the light is Lady in another form? And its trying to kill off Diesels and possess steam engine. But even if that.. then why?
@@nibeldougebagr7153 The lights seem to be something else, completely seperate from Lady. Lady seems to be a malignant force, while the "Roaming Eyes" seem neutral at best, and only act hostile to those they do not like...
What is more, the Lights only moved to attack Bowler because he went at Henry with intent to scrap him, while D40125 came there, seeking answers. Aside from his own beliefs, he otherwise was more neutral when it came to steam engines, so the lights likely told him what Bowler tried to do.
Alright, theories/revelations:
-Seems like Old Stuck Up and D261 were brothers. Kinda obvious.
-Bernett Stone was a quarry owner who’s daughter was playing with satanic stuff, got herself killed, and Bernett then moved to Muffle Mountain, built Lady, and I presume tried resurrecting his daughter from the dead through Lady. Seems to me like it worked, a little too well. Guess Lady is Bernett Stone’s daughter reincarnated. But why does she hate the people and engines of Sodor? Perhaps because the government there was preventing her from doing her satanic rituals? It’s also starting to sound like the munitions crash might have been a cover story. Perhaps the real incident is what led to the mine collapse and the many deaths? Perhaps Lady’s pissed off about that?
That would make sense.
What is the real incident?
@@railfandepotproductions That’s the question.
Satanic?
The timing for this new installment of Forest Horrors to be uploaded couldn't have been better because where I am, it is cold and rainy. Perfect weather for watching this! I love the many distance and "mysterious" shots throughout the episode like at the yards and the scrapyard, gives an almost "spying" atmosphere to it and I have long loved similar Trainz scrapyard videos for this reason. And the characterization for Spencer being quite knowledgeable is something very novel and still somehow works. I like Old Stuck Up in this too. I feel like we still can't fully trust him. Yes, he is a rare survivor of going into the forest at night but his sudden change of attitude is almost like whatever beings that were in there have "mysteroned" him into a clone, one not entirely true to the original but at the same time, his new attitude is convincing enough that I want to trust him now. And the bits of humor scattered throughout have not gone unnoticed by me either.
And before I forget again, something unusual for this episode is how more upbeat the score is. It's nothing very cheerful but it is certainly more happy-feeling that the previous episodes and even the credits aren't giving off a sense of dread. I'm sure there is a reason for that.
If i understand corectly, that BR chooses to build faceless engines, interesting
Also, really love the plot and lore building brick by brick and the clever inclusion of RWS/TV stories into the series
More people should know about this series, its one of a kind
In short, this episode confirms that Henry's Forest did happen, and D261 "Bowler" did die while attending to kill Henry. We also see the remains of Donald and his tender from the last episode. I also see people comment that Perry could be seen in the background of some shots.
As always, good job Daylight 3
Where is Donald’s tender i only see Douglas
is bill blue or is it Ben xx
I hope Sodor will recover from the disappears with the end of Toby, Gordon, Duck, Oliver, Donald, Toad, Percy and Sir Charles Topham Hatt with the mysteries as well as Lapis spending time with Smudger/Stanley on the Skarloey Railway during 1982 and 1983.

Seeing the personality of D40125 change throughout the story was kind of humbling, seeing the transition from biased diesel to concerned friend was really well down. Overall this story was kind of wholesome and that made it really fun to watch and see unfold all the facts. Thanks for your wonderful work and effort as always.
wow these are like all the characters i was LEAST expecting to be plot relevant
Hope in this one we finally get more answers instead of questions
Honestly as long as it’s still a banger I could forgive it if it doesn’t explain. But I’d like answers too. Why is lady killing everyone?
I agree, but who knows maybe there could be an episode where there be a complete explanation of this series. Or there might be a TH-camr that reacts to thomas and friends fan series and make theory videos and stumbles across this one and goes full out on it. 😄
But all the same, I really enjoy this series and it intrigues me and more and more, as it goes on.☺️
The ending is great with the use of your new home being perfect and the story all around is great. Cant wait to see more of this series.
I never was a fan of your new home, it's gimmicky, annoying
Say what you want but it's iconic and it works
It’s currently 11pm in the UK and I really need sleep but couldn’t wait to watch this tomorrow
I love how Old Stuck Up is so insecure about Sodor island railway
The driver seems so resigned with the weirdness of his engine.

“Yes?”
“Pick up that trash, and put it in my cab.”
“Why?”
“Reasons…”
“Alright?”
**Later**
“Finally found you! Best get back to the sheds.”

“You told me to pick it up, yeah?”

It sad to think Douglas is at those sheds because that tender is all he has to remember Donald by
So much was said in this chapter and for once it feels like we can close a gap in the mystery that plague this world with the death of D261 and some of the supernatural creatures that are still in play, and for that reason you’ve done another outstanding piece of work 😃👍
I'm looking forward to watching this, it's honestly my favourite series on TH-cam to watch. I really love how you incorporated Missing 411 into this, I love learning about those cases. You do a very good job at capturing that same feeling here
Some background easter eggs I caught.
2:43 Percy was seen behind the small train on right
21:41 Percy next to 40125
4:33 Lady next to Murdoch's tender.
You can see Percy without his eyes pupils
It's too blurry to see.
Donald’s Tender also appeared prominently in one scene. Though, I am not sure if that is from the entities, or if it is kept around for other reasons
At 20:59, for a just a moment, you can see Donald hiding near the entrance to the shed on the right side of Old Stuck Up.
@pendremacherald6758 Donald's tender was recovered by D10 and he hasn't been seen with it since becoming an entity, unlike gordon so it's likely just instorage

@@onetrackmind3558oh yeah sorry about that
I enjoyed this very much! I quite like that we got an installment that called back to past events and shed some new light on them. We're getting ever closer to tying all the mysteries together.
I like that out of all the characters who would be interested in searching for D261, it's Old Stuck-Up, his brother. I'm glad 40125 is getting a new lease on life, this video did a really great job of expanding upon a character who was just a one-off nobody in canon.
47:29 Something interesting I noticed in the credits. D261 is in the photo next to 40125 but he disappears. They truly left no stone unturned in making sure that every trace of that engine's existence was erased. Things like this have happened in real life, where governments try to erase all trace of someone's existence. There's a particularly famous photo of Joseph Stalin with Nikolai Yezhov that had Yezhov edited out after he fell out of favor with Stalin and was executed.
I was actually thinking of that exact photo when editing that. Happy you liked it.

It is an incredibly interesting development to the series. D261 seems to have been killed by the lights instead of possessed or corrupted like the other engines. Perhaps this mirrors the fact that like the Duke and Dutchess or Boxford, Lady doesn't want to use diesels. Especially when she had the chance to possess Diesel earlier in the series.
D40125 was also on the hunt for a seeming loose end that started this whole series. I'm curious how he'll affect the rest of the series and what the MOD will do now that they have D10 monitoring him. This episode answered a lot of questions, but I still feel like we know nothing of the greater plans of Lady.
Now, I'd like to take a moment to pinpoint who I think the protagonist of the next episode could be - Murdoch. He appeared throughout this episode and could be an interesting character to follow in the next instalment due to his more introverted and lonesome nature, which could get him in trouble. Whether he is or not, I can't wait for the next episode.
OH
SO THATS WHY DIESEL ISNT TAKEN IN DEVIOUS DISAPPEARNCES
It seems more likely that the Lights of Henry's Forest are a completely seperate entity from Lady/The Siren, more neutral rather than malovent like Lady was.
The Lights notably left D40125 unharmed, and may have communicated with the Diesel somehow, since the siding D40125 is on, wasn't accessible from the track he took to enter the woods.
Also, Henry was unharmed by the Lights, which seemed more curious of the two engines, and only acted hostile to D261 because D261 entered the forest with malovent intentions, while Henry simply entered because he didn't want to fear the forest anymore.
Lady, on the otherhand, is targeting Steam engines and Sodor Natives for some reason, making Steam Engines into her Puppets, while Converting Human Natives into Rolling Stock.
So that's what he was looking for he was looking for D261
16:04 NAHH THEY SQUATTING THE OWL HOUSE 😭
Eda's gone too far this time!
Luz: EDA WHAT DID YOU DO?!
Wait that's the owl house?
Is this what rosie was talking about in killdane talking to thomas about an evil creature who came from a deep pit of hell that was long and unnatural? The owl hooty? I never heard of him.
Here's my theory so far. The man who moved to muffle mountain would be Burnett stone. His connection to Lady has given me some reason to believe that her and his daughter are one the same. Perhaps not accepting her death, he attempted to resurrect her as an engine (probably to do with their love of trains). But as any fictional mythology has ever said, messing with necromancy can have dire consequences and she became something else. He had no choice but to seal her away and left the island for the states he settled down in muffle mountain and had a new family with his childhood friend who followed him. Sounds to me that he'll have to journey back to the island and put lady to rest once and for all. Again as I said before something involving Thomas and Diesel 10. Let's see how deep down the rabbit hole we can go. Great work BTW, less horror based than the other ones but still good.
I know it isn't intentional, but this right before i go to sleep here in the midwest. Perfect timing! Once again stellar series, i love it so much! Your sound mixing just gets better and better! The voices are superb too. Your ability to create suspense in broad daylight is wonderful.

Excellent episode. I love the continuity with the rest of the series and how one episode fuels all the others. I almost couldn't believe that D40125 was actually searching for D261. 9:39 I hear Lady's whistle again.
29:07 - relevant as of Crying Wolf, an indirect mention of Sodor Silver. Importance compared to regular silver currently unknown. But if I were to speculate...
The foreign diesels says that the 'silver plated' Intercity 125s are "more of us" despite being a different design, and that the silver in question came from Sodor.
We've seen locomotives without faces in this series, mainly the scrap engines, and notably the decomissioned diesels in The Killdane Reassignment. The wreck of Gordon, who is also confirmed fully dead now, also doesn't have a face.
I suspect that Sodor Silver has something to do with engines beng alive, the smokebox door or area where a face is wanted is plated with Sodor Silver, and the loco becomes alive.
Been waiting a while and I have to say, you never disappoint, to you and everyone else who works on these I have to say thank you for a perfect story so much mystery, I love it all
This is the best Thomas story ever, YOU ARE SO UNDERRATED
You could bring in the forgotten engines story into this if you play your cards right

Been a couple hours so I thought I’d leave my thoughts and takeaways. Really good video and fantastic tie up to the first episode, I now noticed that the forest is fenced off, I’m assuming that’s recent and the only engines allowed in are Warship and Splodge?

I think that last part was just because the driver was holding the D part, so you could only see 261, since it's visible again after.
Percy can be seen at 21:41
1.At 35:56 I noticed Lady through the window before I read this comment.
2.At 6:36 That is more likely Emily because she has darker green, unlike Percy who has lighter green.
Brilliant as always.
Every episode keeps getting better and better . I’m already anticipating for the next . Though will what happened in the last episode where Donald was charging towards D10 & James be mentioned and what transpired before they got to the station .
My question is why did D261 have to be forgotten and removed? Why go to the extent of making it seem like they never existed? I'm assuming the "military" did this cover up but why? None of the other dissapearances have been covered up. It makes no sense that they and they alone would be treated this way.
I figured the lights in the forest was less connected. Though, perhaps Lady was weaker at that time and she could not control those souls if she was responsible for that accident. I wonder what is going on with Donald’s tender. With how much it was featured, I assume it was recovered. Since it isn’t sentient, it may be non anomalous. If that is the case, I suspect it is kept around as a memento for Douglas, use as a hopper, or both.
I wonder if we will see the likes of Lily, Patch, Stacy Jones, or Billy TwoFeathers. Perhaps we have already seen them. I noticed Ryan was pulling the coaches of Thomas’ branch line that remain. That makes me question how Thomas is doing. Though, I suspect he may be working with the SDF now.
The only engine of the original eleven that has seemingly had no contact with a supernatural entity at all yet is Douglas. I suspect that makes him the prime target, at the moment. Although, I don’t think he would be easy to fool or even likely to get taken down by the deceived. Lady herself would probably have to do that.
If we do see Lily, we would assume Bennett Stone had at least two children. I wonder if Tasha ever lived on Sodor. Now, I’m just rambling.
This video was thoroughly enjoyable, and I am glad we got at least one episode in this series which has a happy ending.
Can't wait this a been a masterpiece in the making

Nice catch! 🤯
* Wondering if actually the yellow engine was the first victim of the Killdane Lights
* Their case and D261's match up in every way - bright red light when the incident occurs, remains discovered are skeletons and burning wreckage
* Crying Wolf has now also told us that Lady wasn't the only cult operating in the area, so maybe the Killdane lights are some other spirit that got summoned, the yellow engine was a sacrifice to them, and when the groups were shut down in the 50s the lights started appearing as they needed more sacrifices (Norramby says in Crying Wolf "most of their books and artifacts were destroyed in the 50s, but from the few I got my hands on, the word sacrifice comes to mind")
* Henry indirectly sacrificed D261 to the lights in Henry's Forest and that seemingly was enough to permanently satisfy them
I was wondering if this series would continue…some episodes are a little too dark and details like Topham’s disappearance are getting fuzzy but I still find it all intriguing and am curious how it will all end
Looks like there's more to D40125 than we 1st thought
Wonderful story
I like how we see Donald's tender in the sheds with Henry.
29:25 Is that the fat controller on the station platform to the left did he fake his death so he could hunt down the siren in secret?
Also Oliver to the left at 32:15 next to the other diesel.
That might not actually be the Fat Controller, just another rather hefty man. Especially since he is dressed in the stout gentleman outfit.
Once again, another Amazing story by daylight 3 it was also kind of sad in the end tho, I guess that 261 was finally able leave the island. I’m excited for what’s coming up in the next episode.
I think the final showdown is gonna be between Thomas, Lady and Diesel 10 as everyone else will be blocked off on another part of the island. I think the showdown could entail something similar to the original story of those 3 when diesel was chasing lady and Thomas.
