@@DanielStems69 I have looked into leveraged ETFs I’ll admit I’m a weenie on such investments haha Never do I operate in or within the lines of leverage (unless it’s a mortgage for real estate ) I just buy great companies that pay me quarterly and hold them forever.
If you have a high income leverage starts to make a lot of sense. It allows you to write off your interest payments on the ETF investments. So a 7% interest rate become 3% or 4% after taxes. Since my late 20s I have floated between 100k to 200k in debt for every 500k invested. If you are earning 10% on your investment (typical S&P 500 returns) then you well on your way to being rich.
I have a question how are you getting around the visa situation in Malaysia. I understand it's only 3 months max stay ? I was looking at the MM2H option but it's a bit expensive and long commitment + you have to purchase a property and hold it for 10 years ? Not for me.
Any ideas for someone with enough savings but all trapped in 401k? I've got 6 years till i hit 55. Only have about 100k outside of it. Thank you for letting me learn from your experience.
