You must like cheap things. . Walmart is a dump and k mart was a dump. You miss the good old days. You are obviously Trump supporter. Sorry nostalgia king it is 2024.
I remember when I was little me my brother, dad, and mom would go to Kmart to buy like clothes and toys and once we finished shopping we would go to little Cesar’s and buy a hot and ready 5 dollars pizza and buy some slushy’s but since my mom and dad separated and Kmart closed I would give anything in my life just to have a moment like that again.
My wal-mart had a mcdonalds in the back corner... then took it away to make more shopping space, then up front near the entrance a few years later they added a subway an a starbucks... then they got rid of that and turned them into a deli... those restaurants where game changers...
My local Walmart took their McDonald's out around 2012. The drink section that replaced it smelled like McDonald's for a few years afterwards. I wish it was still there.
These came along around the same time as the Wal Mart Supercenters which were amazing at the time because the idea of a grocery store inside of a Wal Mart was huge. Not to mention they expanded their selection, stayed open 24 hours a day, had demos for video games etc. Then DVD's became a thing not long after, the Playstation 1 came out... good times. My mom used to just drop me off at the Wal Mart down the street and I'd go to McDonalds, get a triple cheeseburger for $0.99 cents and just hang out in the electronics section for hours and bug the employees, following them around and talking to them. I actually had the manager eventually tell me to leave the employees alone, lol.
I remembered my Walmart Supercenter in a city where i used to live used to have a McDonald's in the back when it was first built in around the late 90s, the McDonald's unfortunately didn't stay open there for long as it at some point closed like a year later, I however wasn't born yet at that time as i was born in the early 2000s, but that's what i learned, This brings back memories
I miss when McDonald's had a 1 dollar menu. I would ask my dad for like 10 dimes and I could buy the regular Fries, and now the regular Fries cost more than the Super Fries did back then.
@@trolleetriesfood Pretty much they only thing I found for less than a dollar today was a Hershey's chocolate bar at the dollar store. With tax, that would be only about 96 cents, but that's still very expensive to me.
My local Walmart had a Mcdonalds until around 2015. Once it shut down it turned into a furniture store for a while. The thing is, they never got rid on the red and white Mcdonald walls so it was just a furniture store in an empty Mcdonalds. Weird times.
Yes I did first super Walmart I ever went to it had groceries the Walmart part and McDonald's I was so impressed and facinated. We both had like $50 to spend each we thought we were rich back then that was tons of money or seemed like it

Right I’ve seen some Walmarts with McDonald’s. There is one on Cantrell Road in Little Rock with one and also one in Cabot, Arkansas, for example. But they are NEVER in the back of the store. I never did think that made any sense.
I remember the Walmart in Rib Mountain Wisconsin used to have a McDonald's in it with the big Golden Arches before they remodeled the store by adding on to both ends of it turning it into a Supercenter.
Back in this time, stores used to actually try. They would carry a wide variety of products, you could go into a store and actually find what you wanted. And they didn't feel like going to the prison commissary either.
There was a McDonald's in the Wal-Mart near us when we first moved here, can't remember when it changed but they turned it into a Subway later. They shut it down during the pandemic and now it's just used for storage.
The 80's to the late 2000's era, right before 2012, was the period in modern marketing that anyone with a business model or lick of creativity ever created anything simply for the customer (Not consumer). Nowadays it is no longer about bringing fresh new ideas that are memorable because of their creativity and style. These "Fresh new ideas" they want now only involve the flow of money. And with with the progressive nature of technology and everyone's face in a screen, they see no point in putting in that extra effort. And it's not just McDonalds, Walmart, etc. It's EVERYTHING now. Easiest change is this minimalist mindset with logos, or the video game industry where these "Triple A" games are barely made or not even sold as a whole game. It all boils down to the greed man.
My Walmarts McDonald’s had a whole vintage painted mural of this depiction of a 1950s McDonald’s with people in it. Sucks that minimalism became a thing and McDonald’s made every one to look the exact same
McDonald's in Wal-Mart and Little Ceasars in K-Mart....God I miss K-Mart.
There was Subway in recent Wal-Mart locations.

My Walmart took their McDonald's out in 2020/2022, it got replaced by a Charley's Philly Cheesesteaks

I remember going to a McDonald's in Walmart a lot back in 2008-2009 before they all turned into Subway restaurants.
That was the case with the Walmart in my hometown. It's long since become the area with sour cream and cream cheese and part of the deli section.
Miss the past
I miss those prices
I miss the past too
Same I miss having a functioning economy and I miss having a population that wasn't so fucking paranoid of getting sick.
As well as a culture that is so dense scent on trying to tear shit down instead of building shit up
Target I still go to on occasion has a Starbucks near the entrance, you could say that’s the modern rendition of that this is
Dude that music just makes u remember a different time
R.I.P McDonald’s Walmart
80's & 90's
we had a mcdonalds in our walmart til a few years ago
In Canada McDonald's and Tim Hortons are the main restaurants in Walmart's most of them use McDonald's though
Never seen one with a tim hortons only McDonald’s
I always asked my mom for some money to get a sundae or apples whenever I went to Walmart (which wasn’t often since we had Kmart nearby lmao)
Very cool I love McDonald’s labs I have a new mcdonld land t shirt with the 50th logo on too
I loved going to Wal-Mart back when I was a kid. But not anymore.
I live closed to Antioch (Nashville) Tennessee and there is a walmart that has a McDonald's its still there now
man we had it all

some of them also have Checkers in the southeast which is always a delight
And we use to sit and eat with strangers!
I always knew that some Walmarts also had Subway. At one point, I remember one local Walmart having a PDQ, but it closed down too soon.
My nearby walmart still has a McDonalds, albeit smaller and bland in comparison to what it used to look like 20 years ago. No giant "M" either.
