Once it arrived here it downgraded to tropical. storm Hilary we still had pretty strong winds the winds were only there for about a hour and a half and the wind. stopped because I live in the San Joaquin area or Central valley and there was some thunder but the thunder stopped afterwards to and rain just continued for a quite a while that's all no hurricane force winds though. Nothing strong
