    John Hope Bryant….. a Leader of LOVE. The way he just broke down the TrUtH about public school systems at 42:00 touched my soul.
    As an educator and a positive voice for our public system….. kids need aspiration. Kids need to be empowered. Kids need to know someONe believes in them. Kids need to learn about and be exposed to their genius. We can not sit and talk about a system that houses and educates most of society (whether we like it or not).
    As a former teacher I would run programs and organize events to educate and empower students in hopes to boost their self esteem and support who they are instead of who they’re not.
    I just learned about Mr Bryant in 2023, I’ve been following his movement every since. It’s admirable. Thank you for this conversation.
    Thank you for BEing a role model.
    HOPE

    Excellent presentation and food for thought! We must think then act . Most people don't take the time to think and then react!!🤔

    This guy is on target. I've never read his book but I keep my credit score in the top range and get all my money back from IRS. Blacks don't do the easy stuff like good credit scores and work + small business combo and home ownership stocks savings and living below your means will keep you rolling in cash.

    Hey Sean McPherson, I don't actually think that Mr. John Bryant is trying to ask us to read his book and then they will be rich. I think he is saying to rethink and re-imagine things differently.

    His whole approach is win-win persuasion vs appealing to fairness like we usually tend to do - whether in macro or interpersonal relationships.

    The US has the same system as everyone else in the world and that system is the Monetary System. The Monetary system is the problem around the world. Money can not distribute an abundance which Technology creates. The more advanced we become the less our money system works. Money must go.

      +ProjectP Uhm...the U.S. has a representative government.....we elect people that say what we want to hear, but they can do what they want once they hold office.....it's not a democracy, and it's not a democratic state........Get with it, ya'll.....

    ....Oh and is the game rigged!. Raising the minimum wage will absolutely rig the game even more. While I am at times race and class critical, this guy is speaking the straight truth.

    There are two issues. Race and class issue for black people. Class for whites. Anyone can change their class.

    The richest corporation in America pay almost no taxes. They say "We deserve pay less taxes because we create jobs". Where are the jobs?

    • @dboyy8327
      @dboyy8327 8 ปีที่แล้ว

      What up!
      Just a correction. The riches corporations do pay taxes. roughly 35-40%. The problem is not in how much they get taxed, but rather the loopholes on capital gains

    John Hope says: "we say we eat millionaires until we became a millionaire". The reality is that there are no jobs and the middle class is shrinking. But he want you believe that if you read his book, you can became a millionaire. Open your eyes.

    • @dboyy8327
      @dboyy8327 8 ปีที่แล้ว +4

      You do realize the prosperity he is talking about (or becoming a millionaire) is not through employment right?

    John has great ideas, but one thing he needs to be corrected on is the formation of states rights far precedes the Civil War era. In fact just prior to it Wisconsin and Massachusetts used states rights to nullify the Federal Fugitive Slave law.

    Smart guy, but wrong about Africa. The problems from nation to nation differ. It's not that Africans don't pay taxes. That's not the problem. Africa's tax money is busy buying real estate in Central Park West, in London, Dubai and Australia. Dictatorships and Kleptocracies galore.
