If Eddie were to survive season 4, it doesn't mean that they couldn't kill him in season 5. There were so many deaths in season 4 that saving Eddie for a finale would make it more impactful for every character to experience Eddie's true demise.

The reason I still think the Kas theory has some value to it is because there is literally so much foreshadowing in the form of small details and even layers beyond that in the form of indirect correlation.
Like, there’s direct foreshadowing like all the vampire themed stuff he has on him like his rings and tattoos, on top of the possible connections to old vampire media and stuff, but there’s also indirect foreshadowing like the connections he has to Iron Maiden with his name and how a few of their songs have lyrics that coincidentally coincide with Eddie’s situation(the strongest connection of the bunch being Innocent Exile imo, given the lyrics and the fact Eddie has a patch for the album it’s from on his jacket)
I just think all the details and stuff they’ve stitched together are far too much to just kill him and have it be over with.

I’m not even mad that he died, and I wouldn’t want him to come back so badly, if they had handled his death better. The fact that the only character to acknowledge it was Dustin and Eddie’s uncle felt so weird and wrong. That’s why I hope they bring him back some way, because they can’t have that be his final exit of the show. That would suck.
I feel like we are one of the many few people that wasn't too sad about his death. He was a good character but he's not a main character - Like Alexi, Barb and Vecna's victims. Just kind of a fill in for the season but i wouldn't be super hyped if he came back more of a "Oh it's him, he's great". I think people need to move on from this death, i think he's gone for good "Maybe he'll appear in a memory or something" but i don't know. They needed to kill off someone at some point
The Duffer Brothers already said that Eddie's death is going to have a major impact on the group in Season 5. They didn't need to do more than Dustin talking to Wayne Munson about Eddie's death. That was the moment we needed. Keep in mind, after the battle with Vecna, it jumps to two days later. The group has had a little time to grieve amongst themselves during that time. Don't forget... after Bob died in season 2, it seemed like everyone except for Joyce gave exactly zero fucks... and the next scene was at the house immediately after he died. This group has been going through trauma after trauma for the last two years of their lives (that's how much time has passed since Will was taken by the Demogorgon) so I'm sure they're quite good at compartmentalizing. We will see the toll it takes on them in the final season.

@@Wispy110 They made a mistake if they wanted it to be like Barb or Alexi. Barb was just a shy little lesbian with very little screen time mostly spent being jealous (then some more lines in a supplementary book/podfic). But Eddie was very much a potential fourth wheel to balance the cart, not just because of the great chemistry the actor brought with everyone, but also because he could so neatly tie in with everyone else's stuff here and there, herding the kids, lightening dark moods, chipping away emotional walls. If they wanted him to be a lovable background character they used way too much power and overshot it by miles.

I love how people who want Eddie to stay dead are usually super protective of the protagonists and will never accept any of them dying. Eddie was the one of the most interesting character by far, and I'm tired of the Duffers giving the protagonists plot armor while other characters die the dumbest death possible.
And Eddie could easily be Kas but still be good, it's just that he's under a spell and is later freed by his friends.

Tbh would make for a more interesting season 5 since they keep killing off side characters while keeping the main characters untouched. So if Eddie really did come back, it'd not only hype up many fans, but it'll change how predictable their structures are becoming with each season. Also since it still goes with the DND parallels, I think it'd work. The only thing that I think would be standing in the way of that is Will since he could easily be that missing piece Eleven needs to defeat Vecna. Then again, who knows I just hope he gets brought back in some way. Whether it's through flashbacks and/or a transformation. 🤷♀
Nobody said we wanted him to stay dead lmao. Yes, his death was absolutely tragic and went too fast but, as someone else said in this comment section, bringing him back would defeat his whole character arc. He decided to help save his friends some time instead of turning tail and running. I'd like to think of it as Steve Rogers and how going back to Peggy in Endgame destroyed his whole character arc. Yes, it was a nice thought but it put all of that hard work he did to shame. Trust me, Eddie is my most favorite character in this show, but I just don't see how bringing him back would 1) not destroy his character arc and 2) end up with him dying anyway because of the Upside Down being a hive-mind. Just a little food for thought, I'm not trying to start any fights ☺☺☺

Also I love the Kas theory and the fact you said that vecna would have to resurrect him and turn him into someone else is 100% true to dnd lore.. because that is exactly what vecna does to Kas.. he resurrected him after getting attacked by bats. and “Kas” was born again. YES AGAIN. because Eddie wasn’t the first. There was the REAL KAS. The one that “betrayed” vecna. Anyways the second Kas was actually a Death Knight calling himself "Kas the Bloody-Handed" and he serves Vecna in the deity's palace in Ravenloft. This death knight is not the true Kas, though he believes himself to be, and his real name is not given. (UM HELLO??) This False Kas seeks to redeem himself for "his" betrayal of Vecna centuries ago

I say that because he “came” back to life but is technically still considered dead because of his funeral hence the nickname “zombie boy” which can be seen as such with Eddie’s “demon/zombie” tattoo having hair similar to both Eddie and Will (combined together) with a face.. similar to vecna. but anyways I think that Will was the first Kas, the one that betrayed vecna because he “removed Vecnas hand” (released Vecnas hold on him” and “took Vecnas eye” (having true sight, being able to see what vecna sees and is thinking). But that’s my opinion, lemme know if you have questions

If they brought him back, I'd like it to be in a way that he's actually dead, but his soul or something like that remained in the Upsidedown due to, like, psychic powers or whatever. And it shows him holding back Vecna in the Upsidedown while the gang looks for a way to kill him. Fully bringing him back unscathed would be ridiculous

It would actually be pretty cool if he came back and was ironically killing the residents of hawkings, as he would be condemned guilty to the original murders he didnt actually commit. Besides he's a really great character who's so different to all the others and i want him back either way lol

I realize a lot of people would be so pissed if Eddie came back but honestly, I couldn’t care less how he comes back as long as he comes back 😂😅💀 It’s weird that nobody had reactions to his death or anything like that or like did they even tell Mike? It just doesn’t

Unfortunately, though, writers do this a lot. Look at Infinity War: Endgame. Black Widow sacrifices herself, and Iron Man gets all the attention at the end with just a tiny nod to Natasha.
I hope they do explore how sad it is that Eddie dies in the next season, but I don't want his death to be cheapened. At a certain point the viewer becomes jaded and nothing matters anymore.

I feel like this wasn’t the initial intention, but because of the love for Eddie’s character, it’s a door that has been opened for the writers.
I’d like to point out that Kas (in DnD) uses a sword to defeat Vecna. Hopper uses a sword in a “cold, dark place” (the Russian prison) to defeat the demogorgan. In an interview (I don’t remember which- possibly Hot Ones?) David Harbour (Hopper) mentions the sword as being a nod to Kas. So we know that Kas is in Stranger Things 5 and will likely be the one to defeat Vecna. With just ST knowledge, I think there are 3 possible characters who can end up as Kas- Will, Hopper, or Eddie. The Duffer Brothers also said recently in an interview that season 5 will be years in the future from where season 4 left off. (This gives Eddie being Kas more leverage if they choose to go that route). Another thing that could be a clue that Eddie is Kas is how everyone else in Hawkins mentions Eddie. They call him, “The Freak” “The Murderer” etc. He even refers to himself as, “The Banished”. Kas has nicknames in DND as, “The Betrayer” “The Destroyer” “The Hateful” “The Terrible”.
Knowing how Duffer Bros draws so much inspiration from characters and timelines of DnD, the lore matches up quite nicely with Eddie being Kas.
I’m interested to hear the 010 theory.

Eleven is clearly Kas. She even damaged Henry's eye and hand when she sent him into the upside down, just like the injuries vecna received from Kas. He pulled her in, she set him loose, he went on his rampage, and she cast him into the upside down. He was "dead" just like Vecna, but then returned, again just like Vecna.
i think eleven will play a role in the destruction of vecna but I think its going to be will to take the final blow. either that or will is evil and has been working with vecna this whole time
@@Deskunderthebed My point exactly. Kas kills Vecna, but he returns after that. Eleven believes Henry to be dead after she sent him to the upside down, but then he comes back. Just like in "VECNA LIVES," the whole party is going to have to take him down, like we saw them attempt in ST4. I definitely feel like Will may deliver the killing blow, or sacrifice himself for the group.

Btw master of puppets is about addiction, and most specifically drug addiction (although those are only several lines, the theme is addiction as a whole) and the dangers it gets you. Eddie dedicated the song to Chrissy which died during a drug deal, so I believe that is the thematic significance, as well as the surface level Vecna is a Master if puppets, as that's what he does and especially towards Eddie that got blamed for his crimes.

I can definitely see him in the next season but more of as a tool by Vecna to trick/distract the others like Dustin, i could also see Max also being used in the same way against Lucas and co but with a chance of being saved unlike Eddie

I remember having an old theory where the demogorgons were people who stayed in the upside down for too long where their bodies start to mutate to become a demogorgon
Before season 4, I liked the theory that the upsidown was the future, and the demogorgons were hyperevolved humans
I used to think the same too but now we have seen that domodogs were in the upside down long before the gate was opened

I love this theory! Although, if Eddie then became a vampire we still have to remember it's all a hive mind. So if Vecna dies, all of the demogorgons, demobats and the mind flayer will die along with Eddie. Yet again, you mentioned Eleven could save Eddie, so she could be able to do that before the kids are able to destroy Vecna.
If Eleven is able to save Max, of course she might be able to save Eddie!

Kas is a Vampire, it makes sense for Eddie to turn from the bites (or be turned) and then becomes Kas who does not have eddies memories right away, 11 Dream walks to help him remember and he turns in Vecna, with Kas added to the group they have the power to defeat Vecna.
Someone suggested to me that eddie was going to come back in season 5 but probably as a way for vecna to attach themselves to dustin kind of the same way he used billy for max. Which i think would be pretty tragic

He does say his hair was buzzed but also says he played guitar in the talent show. He even told her she did a cheer routine showing he was there and witnessed it.
Yeah, maybe after the massacre 010 escaped or was let go, lived with his uncle, and began attending school, kind of like 011 going to high school in this season. Maybe his hair was slowly growing back or he decided to keep the style for a while. Even if that wasn't the original intention, the writers could easily retcon it after seeing the fan reaction to Eddie.
@@alfredvickers4054 they can alter it but for the sake of the show it needs to make sense. I'd rather Henry save him in the same way as 11 saved max but use him against the group. Of course he breaks free and helps it in the end haha. We can only hope.

I feel like the only way they can bring back Eddie, is if he's some sort of Mind Trick being played by vecna like when the gang eventually goes back in the upside down to do things where vecna knows or feels them there, he'll show glimpses and just the back of Eddie walking in the distance, where Dustin would run towards it. Which would lead them to be in more danger(than they already are), as well as flashbacks from the year we didnt see during the hellfire sessions. They can even bring back joseph quinn, im sure he'd love too.
The happiest thing I would of wanted if Eddie had at least one scene it would be that Dustin would learn the Electric Guitar and as he is playing it, he would feel Eddie right next to him as he plays,or an ending for season five would be that Eddie graduates and gets his diploma because that was his dream…
As much as I love Eddie, I feel like him surviving detracts so much from his story. Him making the sacrifice play is what made him so great. Without his death it just is missing that huge piece of the puzzle

While Eddie is my favorite character, it would feel ridiculous and out of place to bring him back. The character already has a full arc of him going from a coward to a hero. If they were to ever bring him back, I hope they go by Joseph Quinn’s idea. The idea consisted of Eddie staying dead but being part of Dustin’s self conscious.

the problem ive seen with a lot of the theories about eddies death is the idea that, like kas (i believe), he will play a *very* major part in defeating vecna. do i like eddie? absolutely, hes fun as shit, but he hasn't been around long enough to take the place of being a major player in vecnas defeat that could be better held by *literally anyone else in the cast* - bring him back, but don't make him too important, especially considering his arc is already done 😭

@•GhostMuffin• We really dont, one of the main issues in the show is that the Duffers add many new characters and that makes them set aside the character development and storyline of the main characters. Eddie is cool, but if the Duffers want to end the series in a good note they need to give their main characters a good closure rather than focusing on any other storyline

Calm down with the Steve thing. If they killed Steve in a way that pushed the story in an interesting direction, led to great emotional scenes and had lasting, noticeable impact on the other characters... I would be fine with it. Hating a show simply for a characters death is stupid to me, unless its not handled well.
One thing to support the Kas theory is his Spiked shield. Matches up pretty well with some D&D art.

I never really believed the “Eddie is secretly 010” theory because their ages don’t really add up since Eddie is supposed to be 19 to 20 in 1986 and 010 looked to be 13 or younger, and also I’m pretty sure we saw 010’s limbs all twisted up in the lab massacre scene so he was most likely killed anyways. Also that set photo of the person being carried away on a stretcher is an old leaked season 4 set photo from 2021 apparently, people thought it was El at the time, but now that we saw the last episode, it was most likely just a background extra or mannequin being carried away due to the disaster of Hawkins. I still hope we see Eddie again though somehow even if it’s just in a flashback to Dustin and Mike first meeting him in high school or Vecna using him against Dustin just because Joseph Quinn did such an amazing job as him.
I don't really think that Eddie is 010, But 010 was the only child who still looked normal and not with twisted limbs. Maybe he was just unconscious

010 seems slightly older than El, and el is around 16 by season 4, so age wise it's totally plausible. If he was to be 010, though, that would have to be plot relevant, and, since Eddie already died, it's unlikely.

Obviously they wouldn’t say that he is alive, confirming that would be a major spoiler. Duffer brothers love fucking around with baits and twisting their words to make people think a certain way, nothing is off the table until season 5 comes out.
All these theorys might be right or wrong, either way I'm sure Eddie will come back next season, bc they built him up like a main character, like an really really important role, not just in defeating vecna, but in everything. All of Hawkins knows him, he was in the news multiple times in the series. Also the reporter at the end say that he is presumed dead, not "confirmed" dead. And he had devil horns in his missing poster and the devil is known for playing tricks like playing dead and coming back to life.
He isn't just a side character that is loved like Alexei, Barb or Bob. He actually has a lot of important roles in this season if not the main role besides Vecna.
But still it's crazy to think he's one of the kids with powers, not important I mean he's taking drugs and as far as I know the powers from the kids came from drugs and that watch he has on his arm where the number usually is can't just be a coincidence too and that buzzed hair. Also ten had still eyes the other did not and also the number. Eleven and one both have 1's and 0's and 10 had also 1's and 0's so that might just be random but maybe not. And 10 also was 2 or 3 years older than Eleven and Eddie is also 3 years older than eleven, I believe.
And that would also makes sence since he lives with his uncle and not mother or father in Hawkins where the Lab is. Maybe Eddie can't remeber having powers bc he was knocked out in the massacre or maybe he has a power like bringing himself back to life or be imortal. We know that there were sole kids who had different powers than El, like 8.

Ok, so first off, I love your connections between the tattoos and the music with Eddie's death. But when you mentioned in the beginning of the video that Eddie could be 010 can't happen. This is because if you rewatch the Hawkins lab massacre scene you can see that 010's arm was twisted and he wasn't breathing, so there is no chance he can still be alive. There was no one that saved him before got killed like with Max, so unless Henry revived him, there is no way he could still be alive now.

yeah but all the other kids were killed the way veccna kills people, he could have passed out & stopped breathing & then was revived a short time after, & that still would make sense with the tattoos and shi because it is somewhat controlled by veccna, because when veccna kills he consumes who he kills, but if he only died for a little bit like max & will did he would still be in somewhat control. & thats why he kinda targeted eddie so he would come back to him

Kas killing vecna mentioned in the first episode was just forshadowing for when we learn that 11 sent him to the upside down. 11 thought he was dead, but he came back. I do think eddie's body will be used in some way though. It's mentioned in the show that the mind flayer particles can reanimate the dead. I think there's more to the "cult of Vecna" line too.
I personally don’t want him to come back. Love the character but his death was too meaningful. Besides they already brought back Max and Hopper. Brining him back would just dampen the story.

I don’t know, “too meaningful” sounds like an overstatement. There were far too many instances where he could’ve made it safely, it felt more so like a suicide wish than a heroic death, especially given that there was more than one instance where he could’ve made it. I know his whole deal was about not running away anymore but, and I stress, /IN MY OPINION/, there’s a difference between choosing to finally not run away and throwing yourself headfirst into a situation that will surely result in your death. The bats made no clear signs they intend to fly off right back to Vecna’s lair during the whole sequence, and they were even circling the same spot for a while as Eddie was having his moment before deciding to turn around and face them, they didn’t seem in a particularly rush themselves.

I love Eddie and hated that he died and especially hated the way that he died. But Will is the one that Eleven will need to help ultimately defeat Vecna. For the entire show, Will has simultaneously been the center of the show and also sidelined. He's been kidnapped, then possessed - seeming always in need of being rescued by his friends, not being the one who does the rescuing. Even in Season 4 his role has been pretty passive, but the story has hinted at some character development - him coming to terms with himself. Plus, Season 4 established that Will is still connected to Vecna, can feel him. They both have felt like they are outcasts, both characterized as "sensitive" by a parent, both like to draw...
I would be utterly shocked if all that build up did not lead to Will playing a pivotal role in defeating Vecna in the final season, the culmination of his story arc.

I have another idea that could prove Eddie is ten. He lives with his uncle with the only reference to his parents being in episode 8 when he says he is living up to the Munson name and swore he wouldn’t end up like his old man but that could be referring to Wayne or Brenner as the only father figures in his life. So here’s how I think it went: ten woke up with Brenner gone. He assumed him dead and went into the hallway where he saw all of the dead bodies with their eyes gouged out and bones snapped. Heart racing he heads into the basement where he finds the open grate that 001 left open. He crawls in wondering where it leads him. He comes out next to the plant where Wayne Munson has just wrapped up his shift. Wayne sees a scared child and takes him in as his own maybe thinking about his brothers son who died due to abuse. Wayne passed ten off as Eddie his brothers son who survived the abuse and became the legal guardian of him. When Chrissy died and her eyes were gouged out and bones snapped he flash-backed to that night which is why he lets out such a blood-curdling scream as it was the very same killer who took his papa and brothers and sisters.
Edit: also everyone calls Eddie a freak so what if he used to use his powers as ten regularly, which is why everyone though he was the spawn of satan as everywhere Eddie went he would use his powers and strange things would happen. Eventually Wayne noticed these powers and forbid Eddie to use them again. Eventually he forgot how to use his powers, which is why he never used them in season 4
There's also the connection of Kas calling himself "Kas the Destroyer" and Eddie calling himself "Eddie the Banished" while he and Dustin are making spikey trashcan shields
He actually survived his death because the writers decided to keep him alive.

If Steve was able to survive the bat bites, then there must be a chance of Eddie surviving it but maybe with just a more severe condition. Let's say he was able to move out at the gate opened at Fred's death (Nancy's colleague) after dustin left him thinking he was already dead, then some people help him out recover from the wounds and of course being badly hurt he wouldn't be able to show up to the gang for a couple days. Then in season 5, somehow Dustin or Steve finds him. I'm sure it will be great for the series.

The bats are like super weak, but there are so many of them that they can quickly make do with an injured person. They just can't really do much against a healthy individual.
the only way i can see a way of eddie coming back is them doing something with time travel. since they revealed that the upside down is stuck in 1983 and eddie died in the upside down so it was technically 1983 when he died. if they figured out some time travel stuff they could find a way to bring him back since there’s a loop hole and in hawkins it’s actually 1986. but obviously from now and previous seasons when people die in the upside down those ramifications are still present in the regular world. but idk im pretty they could figure something out. tbh even though i love eddie sm i think bringing him back would ruin the character arc they built for him unless its what joseph quinn proposed to do with the character if he were to be brought back. or if with time travel they could completely reverse what happened to him. although i especially think with dustin talking to eddie’s uncle and telling him how eddie was a hero was pretty final :/

Yeh, I think they always intended to bring him back, but it can't be to major cause it's the last season and the main cast need their stories finished, the one thing that ercs me, is that Jonathan has got more and more sidelined and originally he was a really interesting character.
And Eddie, that shows a Iron Maiden tape while saying "this is music"... Iron Maiden's mascot is a zombie called Eddie the Head who is famous for fighting the "Beast". Sounds like undead frienemy to me.

Personally I think Eddie is alive we didn’t see his body get taken to the hospital or even taken out of the upside down even though it looks like he died he could’ve just barely been alive and survived I think he’ll come back in season five
But remember in season 1 when Barb died? Her body was kept in the Upside Down, but she's been dead since then. And the amount of bats that bit him might not matter, but the amount of blood he most likely lost does.
That's a good possibility since we don't know what happened within those two days after the battle with Vecna. I am hoping that's the case, because I feel like Eddie's death was so unnecessary.
I kinda like the idea that he's Ten, his age puts him at 13-14 at the time of the hawkins lab massacre in 1979, and Christian Ganiere, the actor that plays ten is apparently 13 (on famous birthdays so fat grain of salt, his IMDB does not list an age). it is really weird that he doesnt say anything about it if it is true but then again Eleven's whole arc in season 4 is restoring repressed memories from her time at the lab so its not hard to imagine he may not remember.
could also explain why he cant graduate, lacking about 10 years of general education will do that to you assuming he was taken at birth like Eleven.
I think you're right, if he's brought back he'd be a more obvious plot tool and be Vecna's Kas -- initially a servant that ultimately is key to Vecna's undoing. It'd also be a foil for Eleven bringing back Max from death and questions how much Max will be different. They've already said her bones are for sure broken, she may never walk right again, and that she's blind. I could see a scene where Vecna taunts Eleven about how much better his Kas is doing than Max. But yeah, all that said it wouldn't be our Eddie and we'd not see him regain the town's favor, convince everyone D&D isn't devil worship and had nothing to do with the upside down appearing in the real world, and actually graduate high school, and get to take Chrissy to one of his concerts. The best hope we'd have of any of that would be some scene in Eddie's mind that Vecna invades as he asserts his dominance over him while making him into Kas ultimately having such a scene end tragically. I just don't think it's going to come to any of that. Pretty sure Will is going to be Kas and the lynch pin that ultimately undoes Vecna with Eleven's help and the rest of the gang and it will likely cost him his life too. I think we're gonna see a VERY conclusive ending to season 5 highlighting why there won't be any spin offs with any of these characters. I just hope Will gets to kiss Mike once first haha. Poor kid.

There has to be a reason dr. Martin Brenner survived Vecna twice. Does he have powers or Vecna just wasn’t planning on killing him? Because if that’s the case I think Eddie could be 10

If they were to bring back Eddie they could make him a servant of Vecna but instead of him geting a sword he could regain his powers. Then he could help Vecnea capture all the mk ultra survivors so vecnea could start a ritual to drain their powers. This could happen because it is stated that Vecna does not merely kill he consumes. Which could turn Vecna into a demigod but as the ritual is starting Eleven is trapped in her mind so she invades Eddie's mind showing him his past. So he then frees her and together they fight Vecna but they lose and Vecna continues the ritual and punishes Kas/Eddie to a prison in the upsidedown. But Eddie escapes without any of his memories. Then Dustin finds him and trys to tell him what who he is but he is suspicious but finally decides to tell him what happened. Dustin then informs the others and they go to try and stop Vecna from achieving full power.
So glad I’m not the only who realized that the description of Kas fits Will and Billy better. Don’t get me wrong would love to see Eddie back but it wouldn’t be the same.

This is a really cool and creative theory, although I really doubt it'll come true. I really love seeing how well thought out and detailed all the fan theories are, it's one of the most fun things about the show.
Well the Duffer bros did say that they regretted killing off both Chrissy and Eddie because of their chemistry during their first meet up in the woods. I know Chrissy is confirmed dead, but Eddie’s body is still in the upside down. This is why almost all of us fans are making the theory about him becoming Kas and it can work. Vecna finds his body and turns him into the vampire. Originally Kas did end up betraying Vecna so it would be awesome if Eddie ends up helping Eleven to defeat Vecna and honestly it’s the perfect solution for him
If anyone paid attention to the start of season 4 of stranger things, people would notice that they mentioned in their d&d session that vecna has a vampiric lieutenant. We never got to see Vecnas Lieutenant in season 4. We saw that Eleven can bring people back to life now. Eddie died to Demobats in the upside down. Vecna/Henry/One has similar if not the same powers as Eleven. I believe full heartedly that Eddie Munson will get revived by either Vecna or poison from Demobats that turn him into the vampiric lieutenant. The duffer Brothers said Eddie Munson will not return for season 5. They never said anything about his character turning into a vampiric lieutenant and no longer being the human Eddie Munson. In the d&d session, vecna's vampiric lieutenant turns on him. I believe that if this happens it is because Eddie hasn't changed how he feels about his friends and wants to save their lives. Remember that whatever happens in the d&d sessions throughout stranger things mostly but not 100% actually happens to the characters outside of their d&d game. My strong theory that I have is that since vecna has been pulling the strings since season 1, that the first creature we see is not a demogorgon but actually vecna because demogorgons attack their prey the moment they see them and the figure standing in the middle of the road that made will Byers crash his bike looked just like a shadowy vecna. And the grandfather clock went off for the first time in Stranger Things when Will Byers crashed his bike after seeing a shadowy figure standing in the middle of the road. I believe Max Mayfield will fight Vecna from within himself or his mindscape since the Duffer Brothers said Max being in a braindead coma is very important for season 5 and plays a big role. Remember that Vecna consumes his victims and Max died for one minute. After all, Eleven was searching for One at the start of Stranger Things and all she found was darkness before soon finding the Demogorgon. But my theory is Vecna couldn't be found by Eleven because he was in the Upside Down. I believe the same concept stands for why Eleven can't find Max's consciousness but instead of being in the Upside Down, Max's consciousness is probably in Vecnas mind scape. I have hardly ever been wrong with my predictions and theories for stranger things ever since season 1. Before season 4 part 2 of stranger things was released I had predicted that Eddie Munson was going to die in the upside down. I also predicted that vecna was not going to die in season 4. In season 5 I predict that Lucas and Steve Harrington will die. I want to say Nancy Wheeler will die too since she now has Vecnas attention. The duffer Brothers said in season 5, they are killing off main cast members but they don't want to make the show depressing and don't want to be like Game of Thrones so Will Byers, Eleven, Mike Wheeler, Dustin, and Johnathan may be safe. Although part of me says Johnathan would die because it would make for a big moment between Will Byers and Johnathan just like with Dustin and Eddie Munson when Eddie was bleeding to death. I thought about all the clues and I'm trying to piece everything together. The Duffer Brothers left behind a LOT of clues that point to the main plot of season 5. Now let's just see if I was correct with my predictions when season 5 comes out.
