That final note is the most astonishing thing I've ever seen a vocalist do. To be working in such a tiny space in the stratosphere of his voice, never waver even the tiniest bit on the flawless pitch, and still be able to command vibrato, volume, and intensity within that tiny space - it's just otherworldly.

Dimash is The King Of Vocals. Yes, he was blessed with an extraordinary instrument, but he had worked quite hard every single day of his life since 5 years old, and he still keeps doing it. That's what makes him A MASTER OF THE VOICE.

Notice at the beginning when Dimash is getting ready to sing you hear the heartbeat slowing down before stopping then Dimash sings its like the passing of life to be greeted by the angels. To me this is the closest you will get to heaven without going there. Even though this isn't the Catholic Prayer version it still gets the message across beautifully

Wow, 68 Ave Maria settings from 7 eras... but now 69! I mean, this song is on the same high level as Schubert's or Vavilov's (Caccini's) Ave Maria... also beyond all spirituality, just wonderful music.
* Igor Krutoy (here at the piano), *1954 in Ukraine SSR. He lives and works in Moscow/Russia. He is singer, a world- famous composer and music titan in Russia (billionaire). His family lives in the US. Krutoy came out of retirement to write songs for Dimash. The maestro and Dimash have been working together from time to time since 2018. They are friends and have a father-son relationship.
Maestro Igor Krutoy shared the story of the creation of the work 'Ave Maria' for Dimash.
When writing a hit, Krutoy is guided by the Italian principle: every composer is worth exactly what his latest work is worth, which means that all previous successes and achievements do not count.
“On one of the nights, about three months before New Wave, Dimash called and asked if I could write 'Ave Maria' for him and he explained that he wanted to sing something in that style... Coincidentally, I had a spare evening, and I happily sat down at the piano and, inspired by the memory of the Italian formula of responsibility, worked until I achieved the desired result. It took me a few days to 'let' the composition 'lay' in my ears, soul and heart, and sent it to Dimash, who replied literally within half an hour that: ‘This is exactly what I wanted to hear', said Krutoy. So was this version of Ave Maria by Schubert or Bach, or Igor Krutoy? I understand that it was a piece of instrumental music before it became a prayer, Ave Maria, or Hail Mary, in the Catholic church. That Dimash, a Muslim, vocalises the piece instead of singing words, may reflect back to how the piece originated or align with his religious beliefs, or both. Maybe we will never know...

thanks for the reaction. This piece reminds me of a swing. I immediately imagined it when I first heard it. as in childhood, at first you swing slowly, then harder and harder. the swing accordingly takes off higher and higher. and you feel the same delight, growing.😊😊😊
He makes it so easy. I have been practicing this song for the last 6 months, although in much lower key, and still only can do 25% of what we see here. I can’t seem to get into that flawless transition that flows so freely from one frame to the next.

If I'm not mistaken, this “Ave Maria” by composer and conductor Igor Krutoy is a work in vocalize format, completely unpublished, although it seems to be a variation of the initial theme (not the introduction but the singing part) of the melody by Schubert adapted to Dimash's voice in order to explore just as three initial notes and changing the fourth note to a higher note (From B4, A4 D#4 C#4 and B4 to G#4, G4, G4, D#5): Like a leap from "dark to light" which is the same contrast as Dimash's outfit (from dark to light)! It also seems to refer to the Russian V. Vavilov's version of "Ave Maria" (wrongly credited to Caccine) and work by JS Bach - Prelude No. 1 in C major, BWV 846, with arrangements by Gounod, which Maetro Igor Krutoy has a predilection for!

Its' name is THE STORY OF ONE SKY. It's all his production. He is the composer, he performs it and he is the main character in the video (13 min long). It took him 3 years to finish it. This is a very profound message to humanity. And don't watch the fancam version (live) before you watch the MV, because you won't get the message. The second song is EL AMOR EN TI (spanish). Я бы посоветовал послушать его песню которую он делал 3 года. Под названием "The story one sky" там он использует как мне кажется большую часть своего мастерства (но не всю) всё что вы слышали до этого, это круто, но то что он творит в одной песне, это просто поражает!
Это не песня, это полноценный клип, который смотреть надо. И это совсем не то, о чём идёт речь тут, в Ave Maria.

Masterful singing with many advanced vocal technique : “messa de voce “ from Italian Bel Canto technique at the last note sustained 15 seconds on the note C6 . Swell, increase and decrease the volume but don’t change the pitch, how difficult it is ! Oh my god, his skills🔥 only pro vocalists with years of training can do it. I mean singing on whistle and super head voice with SOFT SOUND IS SO HARD TO DO, harder than loud whistle note!
Also, he sings with so much emotions, floatiness, and grace ! Even it is only a A vowel but so hard because it is so exposed. His breath control is insanely amazing!
That sustained D6 with F6 on his super HEAD VOICE (I don’t think it is whistle, he does whistle on 7th octave only) are so good with the resonance 🔥🔥🔥
