    Explaining the Hydractive 3+ setup is useful and it is effective in close to the limit dynamics since, even in non-sport settings, it will automatically go into full sport mode which provides amazing cornering grip for such a large car. Slow speed larger road undulations can be quite harsh though inspite of the otherwise softness of ride.

      You mention some important points. Thanks. I'll pin your comment.

    Hey Mark! Thank you so much for the videos you've made! I'm really interested in buying a petrol variant of the C6 soon. Would you make a POV video of driving the C6?

      I'll give it some thought. I need to have some driving footage to put with an account of my car's maintenance record. I don't have a suitable camera. Here is a hi def and super wide angle recording from my C6:

      And I've just uploaded the dashcam footage that was taken simultaneously to the video that this comment is against:

    Hello Mark, thanks a lot for the video. Very helpful for C5 owners like me who are thinking about changing to a C6.

      No problem. Very similar cars of course. I've just reduced the price of mine:

    I heard that the timing belt change cost arm and leg in these petrol ones?

    • @markporthouse
      @markporthouse  3 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Cambelt change is every 9 years or 180,000km, whichever is sooner - which is a wonderfully long interval. So, much cheaper than a two litre, four cylinder, twin spark Alfa 166 with 60,000km/3 year interval. I would say that the cost of the belt change is pretty typical for a transverse V6 - where they go in through the wheel arch. I don't remember being shocked by the cost of it. But it's not £200, more like £600 (off the top of my head).

      @@markporthouse Thanks for the info! I really prefer the petrol version of C6 and yours has the best colour too. How much did the LPG conversion cost? The "road tax" or "enviroment tax" is way higher in here than in UK then. Three cambelt changes.😔

    • @markporthouse
      @markporthouse  3 หลายเดือนก่อน +2

      The LPG conversion was done before I had the car (this is my third car with LPG) quite some time ago. I guess you might need to pay £2000 to get a conversion these days. In the UK the availability of LPG is declining sharply. I pay an annual tax of around £600, I get £20 off for the car having LPG.

    all lovely, but pt.3 could be about reliability&maintenance side

      Yes. I could use my forward facing dash cam footage of part 2 and overlay a voice track of myself going through my significant bills/maintenance.
