I guess it was hand-made using assembler programming and such stuff. It's not the video, it's an 64 kilobyte executable file. I believe there's no music, textures or 3D models hardcoded into that .exe - it is all generated during the runtime. That's what makes this demo even more awesome. And you have to be a top-level programmer to make something like this.
I dont know exactly how conspiracy made this,(ask them or something) but it involves a ton of different programs and skills, like c or assembly programming, a texture program of some sort, a 3d design program, programming opengl or DirectX etc etc...
