Your cardigan is beautiful!! I love the black bunnies!! Your socks are lovely as well. I've never tried Opal yarn but have been wanting to. Your blanket is wonderful!!! I may have to try that pattern. I have a lot of mini's now. I also make White Hats for a charity organization called LAG. 'Little Angel Gowns' who collect hand knit baby hats and sewn outfits for babies who were angels at birth. I make just the white hats in many sizes. They must be white. I love making them so much. Some families bury their child wearing the clothes and some save them, especially the hats. My oh my, your two sweet dolls do need some attention lol. Pauline needs to go to Emergency!! I can't wait to see how you repair her. When my daughter was very little we found a tiny Fischer Price doll in the parking lot and she had no arms. She was a bit dirty as well. I brought her home and scrubbed her clean and made sewn arms. I didn't have a lot of money so I took some blue sheeting I had and made her arms. From then on she was called the 'Blue Arm Doll' haha! My daughter still has her and she is an adult now. She kept her, her whole life lol. I'm happy you will be sewing for a living now!! Woohoo!! I got a similar one ages ago but sadly never got round to restoring mine and ended up giving her away x we have similar likes even tho I'm yrs older than you! I always wanted a dolls hospital and also used to read twinkle back in the 1960s when it first came out x gave me age away a bit now xx lol . I've also made several attic 24 blankets for my daughter who always nabs them xx 😘 last one was the harbour and it was beautiful x just want to make a jelly roll blanket now x u have inspired me by your beautiful one x
Only natural you are sad about leaving your friends and work. Hope you will still be able to visit with them . You were meant to be a maker! We are in a crafty circle. Tina also tagged me to do the bucket list and I, in turn, tagged Sarah who also tagged you! The baby makes are sad but sweet. When I was in the WI we were asked to make little jumpers for "chip shop" babies. Babies that are born in such poor countries they are wrapped in newspaper instead of blankets. I can see why Lizzie doesn't like Pauline. What a lot of work! I love the idea of your Christmas teddy bears. I might steal the idea if I can't nab one for myself (well, for my grandsons, honest!). X

Hi Paula🌸 I am so glad you are feeling better from your Covid sickness. I am glad you did well with the shot. Olivia My oldest daughter did quite well with the Vaccine but Jessica the middle child She really felt bad even after two weeks she had a swollen knot in her arm. She is doing great now☺️ This was a lovely episode from start to finish. I am so excited for you getting to do your dream for a job! The things you create are so lovely. I have enjoyed my teddy bear so much! I renamed her Paula. My six things I would like to knit are Kitties on my lap blanket, Whitmore sweater, a crochet kitten blanket for little Murphy, kitchen cloths, a crescent shaped Shawl with flowers from the big flower hug pattern. I got a similar one ages ago but sadly never got round to restoring mine and ended up giving her away x we have similar likes even tho I'm yrs older than you! I always wanted a dolls hospital and also used to read twinkle back in the 1960s when it first came out x gave me age away a bit now xx lol . I've also made several attic 24 blankets for my daughter who always nabs them xx 😘 last one was the harbour and it was beautiful x just want to make a jelly roll blanket now x u have inspired me by your beautiful one x
Only natural you are sad about leaving your friends and work. Hope you will still be able to visit with them . You were meant to be a maker! I love everything you make and wish I could buy everything. I’ve never been so lucky to get anything yet. Maybe now you are full time there will be more and I will be able to get one. It came out lovely. All your work is lovely! That’s why you should be making things instead of running numbers. It’s scary trying something new. Self doubt, finances, etc. I’m in the US & (I know it’ll cost a small fortune to ship) but I’ve got to get a bag & bucket from your shop one of these days. Perhaps I can even get you to make me a pair of socks. People are willing to pay for nice things, so I’m sure you’re gonna do just fine. I’m so happy for you that you’re gonna be able to do the things you love most in life. It’s so important to love what you do. So congratulations on your new venture. We are in a crafty circle. Tina also tagged me to do the bucket list and I, in turn, tagged Sarah who also tagged you! The baby makes are sad but sweet. When I was in the WI we were asked to make little jumpers for "chip shop" babies. Babies that are born in such poor countries they are wrapped in newspaper instead of blankets. I can see why Lizzie doesn't like Pauline. What a lot of work! I love the idea of your Christmas teddy bears. I might steal the idea if I can't nab one for myself (well, for my grandsons, honest!). X

Oh Paula your are sunshine on a bad day, you made me laugh so much Thankyou, your knits are beautiful so love the cardigan and jelly roll blanket I have been looking through my leftovers of various sock wool to make one, it won't be as pretty as yours though my leftovers are mostly commercial yarn with a few bits of posh wool I call it lol,the tweezers made me laugh and the dolls oh my she's scary, I first laught out loud at her then thought what she must of been through to look like that, she needs you Paula to give her a loving home some pretty clothes and a new hair do, congratulations on your new adventures your a great crafter looking forward to seeing what you make next takecare xx

You are just the best and I'm so happy for you. I worked at my job for almost 8years and resigned to buy a shop so I can sell yarn! I know how you feel, scary, sad and almost guilty for doing something that you love and doesn't feel like work!
