I'm sure glad you didn't waste a bunch of time playing the amp, you're such a compelling speaker it would be a shame to take up any time hearing the amp.
Maybe the fat switch would have had more effect on the standard models speaker as the Rex speaker negates the need for the switch as its known to tame the brighter frequencies itself.
I like your information. I have recently re-read that this particular model compared to the others has a different circuit board. And there are two different speaker setups that you can get with this this speaker. The main reason I purchased this model was because I heard it was different while at The NAMM Show. I will say to your point that the speaker makes a huge difference! Thank you for the info as well !
At first you would think, thats a fender Blues Junior ,why would there be High Gain.? Fender was saying that this amp would be able to produce High gain. I found it does take High Gain if you put a pedal in front of it.So,a Very versatile amp and I did a video where i played the thing to show what it could do.
