Congrats on getting the Crawdad! I've had mine for over 30 years, but only recently got serious about it. It's a great river and lake boat. I'm designing a sail for mine.
It's not...but the added weight of chairs up on pedestals on the deck makes the whole boat less stable; I tried it. Plus they took up valuable space and made the boat much harder to load and unload in the truck.
Helpful video thanks bud!
How is it for 2 people like it won’t wobble to much if your fishing one on each side?
I most commonly fish with two people in it, and sometimes my dog too. It definitely moves around but we both stand and fish no problem.
@@FishfulThinker okay thanks for the help
is $200 worth it for this boat? I'm looking at one tomorrow and want to do a conversion a lot like yours, like a mini one person bass boat
I love mine. Had it for for more than 20 years so I'd say so.
@@FishfulThinker ended up getting it for 180
@@stevenrais9360 let me know if you have specific questions on building it out.

how thick is the baltic birch plywood you're using?
It's 1/2, grade BB
Do you have the decks bolted down or are those able to come in and out?
They are screwed to the aluminum cross members.
How is "sitting " more unstable then standing???

Just got mine!
