oh yeah!! btw, the fights are short like that, because it is not about a display of power. it is about foreshadowing really big plays. Also displaying character development.
hunter x hunter is not a simple battle shonen. there is no much more in the shadows... But you will get pretty good fights i promise ;D

the time being super slow before you die is actually a real thing. well i didn't die but i fell on my bike and i was going pretty fast too, time literally slowed down , i was thinking super fast even saw one of my friends passed me while i was rolling down hill.
saw his face very clearly his expression even made me laugh in my thoughts that a person could do such an expression. while rolling down i saw a van moving towards me. thought it was my end. good thing the van stopped in time and slid right under it.

togashi does it sooo many times he builds up a conflict shounen style and questions it later and litrerally resolve of every conflict is anti shounen except greed island
Harish Joshi maybe except hunter exam too. Gon and the other 2 had their licenses. Nothing too unexpected except for killua’s failure. Last stage of the exam was unorthodox that is for sure, but it was one on one fights nonetheless which is pretty shounen.
@@TheAytarka It was anti-shounen in how it handled the tournament. Instead of showing it to us in "real time", we hear about what happened with Gon after it had already ended, to make us sympathize with him.
Eroil that is not “anti” shounen :) that is basically a flashback which is very very shounen. I think the term “anti” is being used a little loosely
@@TheAytarka flashbacks certainly are, but almost always for stuff we already saw, and definitely not for the tournament the whole arc has been building up for.

they couldn't extend killua's fight cuz they couldn't , u see togashi isn one of the few mongaka that rly respect power levels , u see kimchi and tofu still understimate the royal guard ( or overstimate gon and killua and the others ) in reality even if gon +killua +morel +kunkle and shoot fought all together 1 royal guard they even may lose , cuz they won't be able to deal real dammage to them ( and don't talk about GON cuz its a defferent thing )
