    Wieder mal ein tolles Video von Dir . Was Du hier zeigst ist der beste Weg zum konstruktiven Foto . So habe ich das selber vor 40 Jahren gelernt. Planen, denken, überlegen, testen, und dann verfeinerrn . Solche Bilder macht man nicht mal eben in der Mittagspause. Gut das dieses Video hier viele sehen können. Freue mich auf das nächste Video von Euch . LG Thorsten

    Have you ever heard of shoe cover dispensers? Seeing all the paint and splashy studio photos makes me thing that disposable shoe covers would help keep the shoots quick!
    A little googling makes me think the Shoe Inn Fusion or the Hillbrush dispensers seem like good options.

      Hi Chad, yes we have packs full of the blue elastic ones in the cupboards. We mostly wear them on car shoots just after we've painted the studio floor to stop getting prints around the car.

    Just found your channel Karl and immediately subscribed - it provides invaluable access to a photographer who produces extremely high quality work that I've no doubt seen in glossy magazines and department stores without realising it (they should put photographer credits on ads). One question from this video - are you triggering your shutter manually or with automation - especially in the paint shots (I'm guessing that getting it wrong with a model means numerous splatting/clean-up/make-up and hair/reshooting cycles if you don't get it first time)? The window for the perfect shot will be insanely small right?

    • @VisualEducationStudio
      @VisualEducationStudio  4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

  • @nilofido411
    @nilofido411 4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

    Quick question about lighting... with the Hasselblat you can sync at any speed due to having the shutter on the lens, on a DSLR the sync is limited, would you recommend HSS or Hypersync to go past the camera native fastest sync speed?

    • @VisualEducationStudio
      @VisualEducationStudio  4 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      No not really it's never a problem in studio environment, the only purpose of a higher shutter speed is to cut out the existing ambient light or daylight, which you can keep low in a studio. The shutter speed has nothing to do with freezing the items on a shoot like this, that is done by the flash duration.

  • @meditationdaily1129

    For the buds - would it be easier to just position them how you like on a glass panel shoot top down and blend in Ps? Less chance and more control

  • @haqvor

    Thanks for this, great as always! When you combine strobes and speedlights do you use filters on one of them to correct for the different color temperature?

    • @VisualEducationStudio
      @VisualEducationStudio  4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Hi, There would be very little Kelvin temperature difference Speedlites run at 5500K and most studio flashes at 5600K - 6000K, all of which are in the daylight full spectrum range.
