Some of you people don't realise how messed up this video is 😤 this video is trying to promote the stereotype that women have to look a certain way to get roles in films. The way that the narrator, despite being a lady herself, keep saying things like, "now she looks pretty after her surgery" is so messed up and so shameless. I get that many people undergo plastic surgery but most of the times, it's just to fix something you're insecure about. But this video is basically promoting the exact opposite and is making it seem like having a big nose or small lips or dark skin is ugly and they look beautiful after 'correcting' it. Also, sweetie, there are so many makeup techniques called contouring and concealing and over lining lips these days. So, with makeup itself, you can change the way you look. So dear people, please realise that this video is toxic.
(Edit : no shaming to these actresses though, if they did it voluntarily, but what makes it sad is that a lot of them had done it to be presentable which goes on to show how messed up the beauty standards are! EVERYONE IS BEAUTIFUL!)
