Todd is always great. I found the first 3 Nazz albums online (not high res) and they were like listening to old friends. --- THIS LIVING ALONE song resonates with me because I have spent 10 years in isolation in a trailer 6 ft by 8 ft and JAILED Myself into it because in every instance of my near success has been destroyed by my choices of friends or family who do me harm. --- Being of a mind that believes finding a problem begins by self-examination I retreated from life to find what I am doing to preserve my record of Lossing and my reaction to burn my efforts worse once they been permanently damaged by the actions of friends. ... the Combination of Covid and Inflation have driven me back to the surface or it's possible I'd be in my lotus position forever. 🙃
My wife loves your honesty. She commented this morning after breakfast about you standing out and being so supportive. These two songs mean the world to me. He has two others from “Faithful” entitled “Cliche” and “The Verb to Love”. If you are not familiar with them; please give one a try. They were staple songs on his set lists for decades.
@@ricefieldrecords Well 1st, thank Mrs. Ricefields for the kind thoughts. btw, I get up around Midnight so sometimes by nightfall I am beginnng too also. That's why I didn't want to make any comments on the other REVIEW of a Record. I SEE
Todd Rundgren has produced a lot of genius level pieces of music... But "God Said" is maybe the most simple yet insightful and beautiful piece he has ever done.
He was tapped to produce The Band's "Stage Fright", so he begins that early. I don't know of Grossman's other connections to TR. There is a compilation CD entitled "An Elpee's Worth of Tunes" that includes 18 TR produced album tracks from NY Dolls, to Felix Cavaliere, Grand Funk RR, Steve Hillage, Jill Sobule, and others.

Wow
It’s an incredible performance. I’m glad you discovered it as well!
Wasn't he Grossman's " go to" producer in the halcyon Woodstock early 70s revolution?
