The most important thing you can learn about famous people is: Never confuse image with reality.

I found it extremely odd and ironic no musical artists were taken to task and canceled during the Me Too movement.

I think it's funny how you can be a random person on the internet and possibly have your life ruined over saying something offensive.
Meanwhile musicians can rap about doing heinous things or how they contribute to a detrimental societal issue, especially in a community they claim to "represent or support" and people won't see anything wrong with it.

they werent very popular so im not surprised they weren’t mentioned but mine is SWMRS. their whole thing was that they supported the me too movement and always said to call out people being creepy at shows, so imagine the fanbase’s collective shock of finding out that their 22 year old drummer was in a relationship with a 16 year old and if im not wrong even SA’d her a few times. thankfully they lost their fanbase instantly after she came forward.

she was also in a band too and they wanted to go on tour together but she declined because she messed up her voice, but a few days later a video leaked of her singing with her boyfriend’s band and instead of being neutral about it or handling it like the adults they were, they let their fanbase bully her. she was 18 at this time and they were all in their 20s. oh and the drummer also used his power over a fan (also a minor) to get her to make merch and stuff for them for free.

Johnny Rotten name-dropped Mick Jagger in the same interview he tried to expose Jimmy Saville. Mick also stole the Rolling Stones out from Brian Jones, who _founded_ the band. People ought to be scrutinizing Mick Jagger a lot.

My dad says that Pavarotti was a little difficult. He’d chew up peanuts and then spit out the shells onto the stage, which the stagehands would have to clean up. Including dad. And he’d always have his girlfriends with him, who were usually younger than him. They might’ve been high end prostitutes, but I can’t remember. Do not quote me on that! But the worst problem was that he’d constantly cancel his shows like all the time! Right at the last minute too. It got so bad that the lady in charge had to ban him from the opera house. And sure enough, he went to his grave without ever stepping foot in Lyric again.
It wasn’t all bad though. Pavarotti had a very good sense of humor. One time, he was rehearsing, but the curtains were down, so he stuck his head through them and sang. (There was a small audience in the seats.) And, this goes without saying, but his voice was AMAZING! He truly was the best tenor of all time, just not the best behaved one.

I think I would have discovered if Iggy Pop's money would save him from a scientific kicking like he'd never had, but thoroughly deserved.

A lot of the comments that say the list of musicians that have done nothing wrong is far shorter than the list of musicians that have sound like members of my family when talking about music, from what little I heard about Axl Rose as well as what my mother has said about The (Dixie) Chicks I’m surprised an instance of a musician struggling after their prime is neither called the Axl Rose effect nor the Dixie Chicks effect, who knows though, it might be called that where I am not hearing it.

Not a musician but an actor...
Adren Brody absolutely terrifies me. Ever since I first saw him every instinct within me screams danger and to run away. I have no clue how to explain it or why but if he's in a movie I just can't watch it with our becoming creeped out horrifically. The only person who's ever given me that kind of vibe.

I find it hard to believe that all those "boy bands" that were a big deal when I was growing up (usually grown men in 20's and 30's) whose fan base was about 98.5% real young, underaged (teens and tweens) weren't screwing around with those thousands of underaged girls they were surrounded by almost constantly.
