Applying blush higher and more towards the outer cheeks is so anti aging! It is one of the most effective thing we can do that makes a big difference!

I love Lisa Eldridge. Basically she knows how to cheat a little while looking natural :) my anti aging tips is to cultivate inner youth as much as we can (joy, curiosity, interest for things) and to wear fresh make up: little foundation, blusher, nice eyebrows and lashes and a bit of colour on the lips :) I loved the video :)

For color correctors I always remember what a makeup artist told me; remember holiday colors: Easter colors are yellow and purple. Yellow corrector counters purple dark circles. Chistmas colors are green and red. Green will counteract redness.

👏🏼👏🏼 this was soooo good! I remember noticing your fuller brows and amazed at how much it softens the face. 💗 My Mom and sister were both models for about 10 years and as the younger sister I had the benefit of learning the makeup techniques they received and then passed along, so I hope you don’t mind me sharing three add’l tidbits that have really helped me...if you have smaller, deep set eyes (that’s me), use smaller eyeshadow and liner brushes. Otherwise you can deposit too much shadow all at once and lack the definition and softer look you’re going for. The second is blend, blend, blend and then when you think you’re done, blend some more! The end result is a smooth, more refined look. The last tip is as we age, lighten up. As you mentioned, “less is more”! The more makeup you use, the more it will settle into your fine lines and wrinkles, not the best look.😢 Lisa Eldridge is my favorite makeup artist and she is such a wonderful teacher for all of us. I’ve learned so much from her videos and I love Stephanie Marie’s channel too, so organized and thoughtful in her approach. Lisa J too. All of you are such beautiful women and provide invaluable information AND inspiration! Thank you! 💫💫💫

Re: upper lip lines: I hated mine, and wondered for a long time why I had these when I never smoked, and I wasn't even 50 yet (at the time). But my late Mom had them too .... except, mine are almost entirely GONE, since I figured out how to sleep soundly (that is, to not suffer from sleep disordered breathing). I never felt super tired, so if anyone reading this has the same quandary I had, I urge you to investigate how well you sleep at night!

I like to use Lumify eye drops by Bausch+Lomb to whiten and brighten the whites of my eyes. I feel like it makes a big difference in making my eye area look youthful.

Just sharing. The L’Oréal age perfect radiant serum foundation is amazing! Gives a nice natural glow and doesn’t settle into my fine lines. Also, the L’Oréal le liner signature is perfect for right lining around the eyes and is 24 hour wear and smudge resistant. Everything else I’ve tried transfers on me.

I use the same maybelline tightline product. Its amazing! I have minimal lid space and dont use eyeliner on top of lash line.
Great video and you look beautiful! I love that you shared some of my favorite videos from some of my favorite TH-camrs! I’m SO loving the natural fluffy brow...I’ve been using a brow mascara to volumize and fluff and hold...my latest fav is Cover Girl easy breezy brow. I must try your brow growth serum! And for those purple dark circles and dark inner corner a color corrector is magic...try Pixi Peach Corrector. It neutralizes and cancels so less concealer is needed. I’m with you that less is more in terms of injectables...very light Botox twice a year fir me too...ask about a little in the marionette lines...it can soften the downward turn of the corners of the mouth. No more RBF 🥰

Lip tip - anything made for your eyes can go around your lips. I use my eye cream on and around my lips 2 Xs a day.
Me too! I also found this Tarte kip mask that I put on before bed, and I swear it made the color of my lips stronger! Plus it keeps them soft, I also live in the 🏜, so that's a must!

I’ve been enjoying your videos for years. You really know just what a women needs for all occasions plus your style is beautiful.
On the waterproof eyeliner .... I have been enjoying using physician formula it is a brush but a very tiny brush it comes in a silver applicator. Once you put it on it does stay but don’t worry it’s easy to come off with warm water or any other make up remover.

My only Botox and filler experiences were at work, in the Dermatology Dept. Of a major university hospital. We were able to receive these services as part of the dermatology resident’s clinic. The attending MDs instructed the residents how to use these products correctly. No frozen faces. No fish lips. They wouldn’t do it. I looked refreshed. Properly placed, this can give your face an overall lift too. I recommend contacting dermatologist.
I'm in no way saying that Botox is a bad thing...I have gotten some myself and love the results. I think some people overdo the fillers and botox and end up with the opposite effect that they are going for. xo

Hi Erin! The video for thicker hair changed my life. Still so thankful for that. I feel so much more selfconfident now, as my hair is getting thinner in my sixties and I could stop it. A few years ago I started to use my eyecream also around my lips overnight and I have very little wrinkles. The lip primer is also very helpful. I'll try the RBF trick, never heard before🤣🌷xoxo

There's another reason to skip DEWY makeup: acne scars! Anyone with acne pits should usually use matte makeup because anything shiny will accentuate the scars. Wayne Goss made a video about it, and I was so glad to find out that I wasn't imagining it. Matte makeup makes acne pits much less noticeable.
that's interesting, though Lisa J did say before that dewy makeup does accentuate texture/pores on skin. before all the masking, i used to prefer dewy makeup myself, but then i'm having to set that now with some powder so it doesn't slide around under the mask, nor transfer so much on to the mask

Yes! I have had those pits (I’m in my 30s) for several years now, and discovered that too. Can’t wear any highlighter either. The only light shine that works is on areas of the face that don’t have any pits.

I started using the magnetic liner lashes after watching Hot and Flashy's video. I love the look! And yes, we ALL suffer thru mishaps from time to time, along with our Kiss (or mine) press on nails.
