Hell yeah, that’s exactly the word for it! This video gives me such a vibe; reminds me of the feeling I got when I first started skating and saw Minekmati or Modus Operandi.
Ville's part was absolutely insane. That backside double flip on that gap is outrageous. Nick absolutely crushed it too. The pacing on this was fantastic as well.
Ville's part was like watching old Thrasher vids like "Feats" from early/mid 90s, but with current-day skills and craziness. Never heard of Polar until now, and this is a great find.
@@davidpaulweaver7792 it’s definitely a lot of 50-50’s. However, what does it for me is that he has a really good eye for spots. I live in Portland, and I can definitely say that most of those spots are really really hard to skate. He does simple tricks but he makes them look cool. He also doesn’t give a fuck about anything. I think he just skates for the feeling, which I relate to.
9:20 wall ride was insane! But lets also appreciate how that bus passed at the right time and the crew took the opportunity to write that lovely message about Jamie Platt
21:14 This kind of line is the kind of thing I would daydream about in the backseat of my parent's car as a kid driving through roads like this, never expecting to see anything like it in real life.
nicks skating is so raw, u can see how much effort he puts into every line cause when he falls he’s so pissed lmao. i loved this video keep it up polar🫶🏻
Really interesting. The skating was so out of the ordinary, rad, and original. I noticed how there were way fewer artistic transitions and no cartoons. The skating stood on its own, to say the least. Great work!
I had never heard of Polar Skate Co, or any of the feature skaters but watched the whole video. Absolutely awesome. Was like stepping back into the 90s when I was a kid skating and we didn't have skate parks built for us in every other suburb. Much respect to all involved.
Polar never disappoints. The filming, the spots, the attitude..beautiful. I especially like those gnarly moves like gap to giant marble ball at the end, that literally is a bmx-move performed by a skater..really well done. Thx all of u guys!
What a sick soundtrack! I was wracking my brain trying to remember which classic video had which song and then at the end I saw Pontus name and it all made sense. Thanks so much for this epic work tying together the old and the new 🙏❤️much love from Japan
@@MrGwaldo Yeah, I noticed that too. The Super8 filmed cattle from the car and miniramp footage. Loved it. Fingers crossed they use a Farside track from the G&S Trucks section for the next video!

man, that naked raygun tune is the perfect song to end on. makes me think deep about skating, when i was a kid i watched "a reason for living" hundreds of times, every time before i went skating. Thanks for the amazing video. i can always count on polar to get me stoked!!
The skating is absolute insane! I love it! But still I miss the old Polar days, with Pontus own more personal and artistic in away videos with more depth than just some amazing skating! I really like polar for bringing the poetic and artistic parts of skateboarding in the spotlight, but that seems to not be the same anymore unfortunately. I see why, Polar has become a big commercial brand and has to adapt to that scene! But love to you Pontus and Polar! And I hope the old artistic ways will come back some day ❤
this is art on it's own (the skateboarding), and also, focus on the sound mixing which has improved dramaticly since the first ones, filming and transitions, you won't find that in a common skate video...
This has every element needed to be an excellent skate video. So easy to pop this on and have it as background noise and sight when chillin at the crib during down time. 🤙 salute fellas from America 🇺🇸
One thing I love about this video, and videos these days in general is the combination of both famous/well known spots as well as some crusty spots that are both hard to skate and take some creativity. A lot of them look to be in the U.K. When I visited there years back I remember thinking reminded me of home in Cleveland or the east coast. London has way more spots than you see in videos. There were a bunch just around my hotel on the Thames by the tower of London. All busts though. I remember finding this insanely fun 4 stair handrail. I'd never seen one like it before or since. It was super short, I'm talking just above knee height and long as 6
Polar puts out such enjoyable videos, always stoked to support the brand and hope it continues to flourish. Also the line at 9:03 is probably one of my favourite of all time. Cheers guys
I'm speechless!!! I've never had a skate video leave me speechless. That was so freaking gnarly!!! I'm loving my P2 shape. For some reason I got it in my head that it needs to be a quarter inch longer on the nose everything else is spot on. I'll get used to it just got to pull that front foot back a little bit. Keep killing it guys. Nick is a beast!

No one slams as spectacularly as Nick Boserio.
Crushed it✔️ love the way this video was structured. Sections rather determined by locations than strictly one skater in each part.
Definitely! Made it much more enjoyable. Like watching them on tour or something
Nothing new… just like old powell videos… that crew feeling
Can already say it needs more jamie platt
the title says is all...
completely insane video
Also Emile was the MVP for me
free em 😥
Aaron Herrington’s part went so hard. Every clip is so good.
Ville amazing! Felt like natas and Ellingtons postures combined in 2022 . So sweet
Very good description/comparison.
I was actually goin to say this! I 💯 agree!
Ellington's greasy locks too.
Dane Brady's part is so beautiful. He skates spots no one else skates
It was great. However, it was mostly the same tricks. He even does a 50-50 on that flat at towards the beginning of the video.
