Just out of interest when you used the deus 2 on that beach did you use the “magnetic accept reject” function that cancels out the black sand?

Yes, XP recommends accepting the black sand but it runs very unstable after, In reject I could still find shallow targets. but never did dig anything deep. My Nox 900 goes into overload which drops the sensitivity down automatically and if I raise the coil a little higher than normal allowing the frequency eddy currents a chance to come full circle around the coil without black sands emitting currents elsewhere my Nox does very well but still incredible tough.
