This is Matt Feeley's game on the American WWTBAM program (during the syndicated version's 3rd season) & it's from two episodes, both aired in May 2005. 🇺🇲 🇺🇲
I’m British, but am doing GCSE history which has an America section, and knew that President Hoover was in the mining business, after getting a geological engineering degree or training. So I would’ve gone with A for that $250k question. Having said that, I didn’t know a couple of the earlier answers eg the tennis one, so very well done!
Matt Feeley doesn't know his "First Lady/Geology degree" question (after using the Switch The Question lifeline), so he walks away with $100,000. Congrats to him! 👍👍
Starting with season 3 of syndicated WWTBAM (in the U.S.), there's a small change in the money tree. Questions 10, 11, & 12 have new money values worth $25,000, $50,000 & $100,000 (respectively) because Disney is now owning rights to the show; the values 1 to 9 and the values 13 to 15 stay the same. Also starting season three, if you reach the $25,000 level, you'll earn a fourth/new lifeline "Switch The Question". 🇺🇲 🇺🇲

GCSE - General Certificate of Secondary Education. Taken at 16 years old. Almost equal to a US Master’s degree
I'm surprised Nixon & Johnson weren't choices at $25k (esp Nixon since he also won 49/50 states).
I can't believe I actually knew the answer to the original $250,000 question - Faust. Crazy how the brain remembers certain things.

Nixon should have been one of the choices for the $25,000 question. I would have not remembered if so.
At 3:35, the start of the May 5, 2005 episode & part 2 of Matt Feeley's game.
I guessed hoover because of the Hoover Dam
That's not why they named it the Hoover Dam, though Hoover was a civil engineer and he met his wife in college classes
You're not smart. In fact, you're an idiot.
