Most beautiful island, clearest water, and amazing snorkeling is Koh Tao. 2 hour ferry from Koh Samui. I went there four times in my three years living on Koh Samui

September/October start of the wet season. My only visit to Samui without studying weather patterns was 1st week in October for 4 days diving, poured it down the whole time with 3 out of 4 days cancelled with the only day diving in a sheltered bay at Koh Tao .

I first visited Samui in 1988. It was a very different place back then and was a real trek to get to - no airport or mass tourism conveniences. 😂👍🏻

I’ve been to Koh Samui many times pre pandemic and I’ve always gone in April/May. In my opinion and my understanding, all these years is that this April/May is peak season (well at least it’s definitely the hottest time of the year.

Last minute of your video it almost seemed as if you were walking very close to the first accommodation I stayed at on my first trip in 2016 towards almost the very end of Chaweng Beach. The name of the hotel was Kirikayan Boutique Resort. Amazing accommodation, great memories and loved the daily walk to the opposite end of the beach to hang out at Ark Bar (which at the time was the biggest and most popular beach club) it’s my understanding that it closed down or under renovations.

Hey! Thanks so much!! We couldn’t because of the weather they weren’t running (we tried from Phangan) I think they have scrapped everything, worth double checking as when we went we still had to do the covid pass!

Check out Bao Bob in Lamai. Really good food, inexpensive, and the best part of Lamai beach. The cutest restaurant with sand floors. One of my favorite restaurants

Hello Matt, and Hello Molly, a very interesting part of Koh Samui I have seen today, and thank you for it. Please becareful when you climb on rocks. It could be slippery. I have seen some of the rock formation that nature has done. Very interesting. But I have not seen anybody that looks like Molly. I love to see her in her 2 piece. A perfect 10. Actually I have not seen anybody wearing bathers like that. But it suits Molly. Please do not hire Ski boats in Thailand, there is always a catch. Even with motor-bikes. My advice if you hire a motor-bike. Take a photo of it. Take care, stay safe, keep smiling, and God Bless.

Matt. Not sure of your pronunciation but ‘thank you’ in Thai is pronounced ‘kap koon kap’ whereas for a woman it would be ‘kap koon kaa’. Cheers
